He looks the part.

At just 42 years old, not exactly a stellar career and one of Potters coaches, it's hard to see how he will make much if any difference. I imagine the players will have as little respect or confidence in him as they did Potter. And unless this guy totally disagreed with Potter's teams and tactics but just said nothing and carried on, it'll be more of the same crap.

As far as I can tell, players now will accept little below Pep before they'll put in a shift.

At least he looks a bit like Pep. Maybe that's the plan, trick the players into thinking we actually have Pep in charge.

New manager bounce to last the rest of the season you would hope

I'd be surprised if anyone takes the job on a permanent basis between now and the end of the season. The last 10 games in the PL are a potential hiding to nothing, and who would want to risk a start like that, especially when the owners have already sacked two managers  ? You could argue it is balanced out by the opportunity to take a side deep into the Champions League, of course ... 

Our forum betting aficionados might be interested to see that if Bruno lasts 10 games as interim then Skybet's pay out is 9/2 !

That would require interviewing someone, agreeing a contract and hiring them in 24 hours as we've got a game tomorrow.

The players aren't expected to perform better under him.

He looks like he's not taking any BS from Havertz and is ready to boot him up his arse. I like him already.

 

Until Tuesday 10 pm anyway. 

Assuming he's just going to steer the ship and keep doing what has worked well for us in Europe. 

 

I am not one to get over-excited, I am very pessimistic by nature (I know this comes as a shock to you all). But I am confident Bruno will win the CL, get us into the top 4 and become a chelsea legend.

Or maybe he'll have one game then we'll bring in that Nagelsman bloke.

Although I can't express how important it is we get this appointment right, I too think its equally as important we make if before the season ends so that this new manager has this time + preseason to learn his squad.
