That plus Lampard's input should give them a good idea.

He was frustrating when it came to the silly mistakes he was making, but levels above Chalobah IMO. Still not sure how much we'll regret that one, fingers crossed Levi is the big deal.

Tomori under pressure was always problematic. He's a lot more comfortable in Serie A where there simply isn't the same tempo as the PL. He was poor against us in the CL. I have the same doubts about Chalobah. He's obviously still young but some of his positioning and decision making under pressure have been a worry. Selling Guéhi was the big mistake.

Selling Guéhi was the big mistake. Think Tomori's recovery speed made up for a lot of his defensive flaws. Truth be told I don't think selling either Tomori or Guehi was a mistake. Neither of which I believe will be an elite CB in the future. Colwill is a different matter, and Chalobah is still an excellent squad option to have., Edited April 26, 20233 yr by Sconnie Blue
April 26, 20233 yr Get him out. This club is absolutely broken and somehow he is making it even worse.
April 26, 20233 yr 5 losses out of 5 with Man City, Arsenal, Man Utd away to come, Newcastle at home. Heck even Forest and Bournemouth will see us as easy pickings. This could spiral very quickly, I think we need certainty and an appointment in place pronto. Sorry Frank you are a legend but a naive manager tactically. Edited April 26, 20233 yr by gojo_ed
April 26, 20233 yr Brought the feel good factor back. 5 games, 5 losses, 1 goal. Somehow majorly lost what was touted as a "can't lose" situation
April 26, 20233 yr Don't think letting him go will do any good. These players don't want to play, they will get paid regardless. It's sickening
April 26, 20233 yr In his last 14 games as manager, Lampard now has 1 draw and 13 losses. And to think that there was so much outrage about his sacking 2 years ago
April 26, 20233 yr There are not many managers I wouldn't take at this point. Big Sam. Alan Pardew. Harry Redknapp. Don't give a sh*t. But Frank can't remain, or we will lose every game for the rest of the season and could legit get relegated.

No manager is getting a tune out of this lot in a few weeks. We need others results to go in our favour to avoid it, that's the stark reality.
April 26, 20233 yr The players just want the season to end. I don’t really think it is on Frank. There’s only so many “we’re Chelsea” speeches he can give. United were the same last year. Their players wanted to be on their summer holidays.
April 26, 20233 yr I think we have to keep him. We wont be relegated even if we lose every game, there are too many low% results that need to happen to drag us into the relegation zone. So 6 more game of absolute hell. Dont let Pochettino be tainted by this season. Play the new signings, freeze out the dross, then at least players are getting acclaimitized for next season.

Lampard hasn't got what it takes, but you could put anybody in charge right now and it would be the same result. The whole club is a complete shambles, it just keeps sinking more and more as the season goes on.

April 26, 20233 yr Having him known as ‘super Frank’ and all this welcome home stuff should be left to when he is in the stands as a supporter only. We now only have fondness of him in memory as a player and must ultimately be judged at the moment on his new job as our manager Within the judgment he can leave immediately. He isn’t the answer, not for us or any other team in the Prem. He can go now and save his dignity as ‘super Frank’ rather than a lasting notion of ‘out of his depth Frank’

April 26, 20233 yr Lampard should never have been an option. New manager whoever it will be needs to come in now.

April 26, 20233 yr Should never have been appointed which shows whoever is making these footballing decisions is absolutely useless

April 26, 20233 yr Reminds me of James Maddison openly saying how bad we were tactically after the Leicester loss back in 2021
