Don't think letting him go will do any good. These players don't want to play, they will get paid regardless.

It's sickening

Might be worth a try though. Could be what the players need. No manager at all.

I remember when we played The Crooked Billet first XI in the North Herts Sunday League division 2 cup semi-final. No one expected us to win against the Billet. Especially when, on the morning of the big match, our manager Billy "Whacker" Wallace never turned up because, unbelievably, he had managed to pull Mandy (randy Mandy), Watkins at Flares the night before.

So, there we were in the changing room for our biggest game of the season, and no manager. Did we let it affect us? No we did not! We made decisions as a group, as team mates. We put Norman "The Doorman" Preece in goal. We decided on Deontay Binns up front for his pace and because he was always up for a fight, even with the ref. We were a team. We knew we didn't have to have a top manager for a game this important.

The Crooked Billet won 5-1. We wuz robbed.

There are not many managers I wouldn't take at this point.

Big Sam.

Alan Pardew.

Harry Redknapp.

Don't give a sh*t. But Frank can't remain, or we will lose every game for the rest of the season and could legit get relegated.

Even Mike Bassett won the Mr Clutch Cup for Norwich before getting the England job. Let's get him in

Mike Bassett: England Manager (Тренер, Английский Тренер) (2001, фильм) - «О том, как стать главным тренером сборной Англии по футболу» | отзывы

Might be worth it for Frank to park the bus for the rest of our games. We have some tough games coming up and I don't trust our defence. Id rather we park the bus and draw every game until the end of the season than keep having possession, not score and end up conceding.

What a shocking stat, guy can literally almost get two teams relegated in a single season here.

And Boehly pontificating about the project and the longer term view could be on his fifth manager in a season

Not even sure Lampard can do that.

Think he needs to go. Causing more harm every match week. Team better off managerless.

Like I said, like Thiago Silva said, like every sensible person said...

Its not a manager problem.

Yes, Frank Lampard is a little bit sh*t but his job is impossible. Graham Potter is great, his job was impossible. Thomas Tuchel is a winner but not a team builder and was part of the problem (lets face it: he wanted to bring in players who has caused a lot of dressing room issues in the past), but ultimately the problems wasn't his fault either.

There's 35 players. Some of them doesn't speak English. Some are young with desire, some of them old, well-paid and not hungry anymore. Some are there for the cars, some for the football. Some fits best into possession football, some better into counter-attack football. Some need to develop a lot but are expected to be great today, some are stagnating yet people in the club hope they'll be better tomorrow.

Individually, the players are ok but not much more than that. As a team, its a massive failure. Players have been brought in without any idea and without anyone thinking about synergy.

You could put Pep or Alex Ferguson in charge of this lot and nothing will happen. Sacking Lampard is entirely pointless, just like it was pointless to sack Potter and (in hindsight, since there was actually no plan to build a good young dynastical team) Tuchel.

Your talking about Arteta I presume as you said you had no intention of watching our game.

Like Argo said this problem stems from issues well before Clearlake and Boehly. They just continued on to this mess.

Can’t help but feel Boehly wanted to please the fans too early with signings. Did things far too quickly to earn the fans backing.

Some are banned from Brighton forums for being a prick, some are still on a Chelsea forum despite even though the bloke they claim to admire has long gone, some might say it's time to depart Swansman.

I have a hunch he might secretly be Potter's burner account

He's been a crowd pleaser from day one.

Just like every other team owner, he didn't like Tuchel but knew that you did, so he brought in whatever Tuchel pointed at and then took the first best opportunity to sack him, like he really wanted from day one.

He knows Chelsea fans have been wanting less of a yoyo team (more City, less Spurs) bouncing around between seasons, so he brought in the proven long-term team builder Graham Potter who likes to work for a long time with a small young, squad improving year by year.

It was never going to be pretty to start with but you could see the pieces with players like Chalobah, Hall, Gallagher, Borja and so forth getting more game time. I know his methods and he was probably hoping for three players in and three players out in January, but nopes, and the Potter project was pretty dead. Finally with a slight upturn in results (just one loss in five? when GP got sacked I think), Todd pulls the trigger.

In comes Lampard and.. well.

But every single one of the decisions above apart from MAYBE the sacking of Tuchel (though you gave him a lot of sh*t in the beginning of this season) was pure crowd pleaser stuff. Impossible way to run a football club given how fickle and impatient fans are.

Frank please resign, you deserve better than being part of thus sh*t show.

He creates part of this sh*t show

we used to at least dominant possession, chances creating etc just can’t score

we now create absolutely nothing and our defence is sh*t too

Wrong place at the wrong time, and making wrong decisions. I dont have a word to describe it if we sack 3 managers in one season. If Frank walks away, the hot potato will be with Boehly again. If not, have to stick it out with Frank. If we sign Pochettino tomorrow, would he even want get into this mess right now? It's almost impossible to find an interim for 6 games 🤫

If I’m Pochettino then I’d want in the door asap.
The season is over. Perfect opportunity to see who he wants kept or sold before the season finishes

I'd say there's about 7 billion people who would gladly take £100k to coach a Premier League team for six weeks.

Frank should never have returned. I blame the owners for even suggesting to bring him back in the first place.

We would have been better off just sticking it out with Potter until the end of the season and then making a decision one way or another at that point.
