This or City Arsenal game?

Naturally it would be Chelsea Everytime but this is a dead rubber and I’d love to see City put 5 or 6 past Le Arse

Yeah all emotional investment is out the door until new manager is announced.

City v Arsenal it is.

You mentioned before about proper Chels with a statement like that it's something you'll never be or understand. You support your team whatever the circs not just when things are bad I'm going tonight and don't have to could easily have not gone but give me going to the Bridge for a nothing game then watch City vs Arsenal on the telly.

by the time Arsenal start we probably already 2 goals behind

Lose this one and top 4 really looks to be a stretch. I'd like to see an attacking lineup with a fit and firing Danny Sturridge up front.

I'm so over this season 🤣.

Mate there's no brownie points here, and if you choose to watch a dead rubber game performed by players who've looked like they haven't given a sh*t about the fans the past few months by all means go for it. Thankfully I'm blessed to live in a reality there there are football matches outside of Chelsea, particularly one being a genuine title decider.

Rest assured a bloke who I've never met before nor will I probably ever meet telling me I am not proper Chels for watching a title decider over disinterested Chelsea footballers means very little.

Because football means very little to you. You can talk ad nauseam about pivots, and deep blocks but you have no idea what a fan is stick to baseball Hank. Anyone who wouldn't watch the team they profess to support but two other teams play is not a Chelsea fan in my book but is the absolute epitome of the modern day football fan. Your a glory hunter simple as that up for watching against Real Madrid last week zero interest in a bread and butter game.

Ohhhh you're that bloke that got upset when I used the term pivot and got a little antsy when I took a dig at the Proper Chels jargon.  I was wondering why this random person was replying to my post with such bellicose. 😂

Mate, little bit of advice, what ever you take personally or upsets you, it shouldn't equate to you to dishing out insults to people who you don't know nor will you likely ever meet. It's an online forum. Get a grip.

Fair play to you and ALL CFC supporters going to game tonight.

BUT there are plenty of CFC supporters who won't watch the game tonight and will watch the City v Arsenal game. By doing so it doesn't mean they are not "Proper Chels", just for whatever they can't get to the game and may as well watch the biggest game so far this domestic season on the TV.

Chelsea game streaming on I pad, City streaming on I phone. Because the I pad has a bigger screen hopefully I still comply with the unwritten code of fandom 😅

I agree but he said he had no interest in the game and for the season and would be watching the City game doesn't matter if you have supported Chelsea for fifty years or 5 minutes you don't watch another game just cause we are playing crap these are the times we need all our support.

Lol we are playing our Madrid team minus James.

4 center midfielders and Sterling at the top.

1 striker, 1 CM, 1 CB and 5 wingers on the bench!

I am a big fan of trev but wtf you doing playing him at lcb over Badiashile!

As brutal as this lineup is athestically I can sort of understand it. Lampard isn't tactically savvy enough to go toe to toe so our best chance right now is matching the workrate and sh*tting out the results.

We made our bed.
