We are creating chances on equal footing with City. Difference is, City have players who are capable of putting the chances away. That's what having a top quality striker does for you.

This is where I find xG nonsense. Bar the Jackson chance I can't think of anything clear cut, and even his chance was a scuff up from Sterling.

We played sh*t, we were boring as f*ck and deserved lost to a relegation candidate at home yet you think we played well?

The bit that got me was him saying we knew what Forrest were going to do and how they were going to play, yet he still decided to field 6 defensive minded players and then blames not being clinical enough in putting away the 1-2 chances we got all game....

At least 70% of our successful passes were between the back line. 

So who’s next after Poch🤣🤣. 
 

I can see the fans turning on him already. Very little patience these days!!

Yeah his comments about playing well really irked me, I know he can’t say it was sh*te in public as it will kill the young players confidence but I hope he’s letting them know behind closed doors it wasn’t good enough.

I will let him off as it’s early in the season.

I think he should be held to the same standards as Potter, if we're 9th/10th by January then questions need to be asked. But till then he shouldn't be under pressure.

Mate, nothing kills a young players' confidence more than seeing a left back play in your position and then being asked to do something with the charity minutes you do get.

The atmosphere at full time was so toxic. Such a disconnect with the team. Poch has to turn this around. He has to. 

 

As poor as it’s been I still think we’ve been quite unlucky to only take 1 point from Liverpool , West Ham and yesterday.  Willing to give him a good bit of time to turn it around as he has a decent CV to lean on unlike potter.

Keep it simple and play the players in their natural position. Mudryk is sh*te, we should have let Arsenal buy him and poached Saka instead.

I wouldn't say there's anyone turning on Pochettino but I think it's normal to be questioning some of his decision making because quite frankly some of his decisions have been bizarre. We have 3 LBs in the squad and he plays a CB there, then he talks about not being clinical enough and keeps a left back at left wing? In the starting team yesterday there were 2 players who are a goal threat, Jackson and Sterling, then he wonders why we aren't scoring goals 

The reaction from the crowd after the full time whistle says everything. They will not endure another 12 months of disjointed football. 

No point in blaming the manager yet again. It’s about time that people accepted the dodgy squad we’ve had for the last few years. It’d be a waste to have a great manager to work with what we provide.

My big worry at the start of the season was that if we didn't hit the ground running with wins immediately, the players would feel the pressure building very quickly again, and they would go back into the ways of last season and being demotivated and too scared about losing. And it does seem that is the way things are headed. I've been in teams where you struggle all season and barely win a game. It wrecks your confidence. That doesn't get fixed over the summer. It gets fixed by a run of good performances and wins. And we just can't do that.

Is clear the fanbase wont put up with the same level of garbage as last season, and that in turn will have a knock on the players if they don't get wins soon.

I think there is a very really chances, with our fixtures between now and November, that we amass several losses, are bottom half of the table and the fans are on the players, manager and boards backs.

As someone said, toxic.
