So it's Pochettino...and now officially gone!

Don’t lack quality that’s a poor excuse we lack chemistry and understanding even with the injuries we have enough quality to beat the teams we have lost and drawn with. People are forgetting we have a new manager with largely and new squad this is starting from zero again.

If only one of these were true that’s when I would expect better performances early but not  yet.

I am confused. I'll be very surprised if there are many fans who rate most brighton player before they came to Brighton. It is not because they are bad player, it is because we have never watched them play at all. 😂😂😂

Welbeck is very good. His linkup player with rooney was fantastic.

I will never be an expert but thanks to modern technology you can watch 25 minute versions of games. So I guess I can watch 4-5 of those in the premier league every week and some from Europe as well.
At my age watching football is very enjoyable and I look forward to the weekend. Just finished watching Bayern v ManU and yesterday PSG (who look like a good competitor to Citeh this year). Sadly no midweek blues.

Have you watched Mitoma or Caicedo before they come to Brighton?

Think its way too early to tell whether or not Brighton have better players than us. What I do know is that their situation is similar to ours. They've brought in a lot of young inexperienced footballers in a side with not a lot of goals in it.

Mitoma and Andringa both have under 100 games of football. Enciso had one full season in Paraguay before he moved to Brighton. Joao Pedro has 40 appearances in top flight football. Ferguson is 18 and Welbeck was never a high profile striker. We can't even blame our scouting anymore when we literally poached them from Brighton.

The point I am getting at is that these players will only have an impact when there is a proper system in place. Something that works on exposing the team's strengths and mitigating their weaknesses. You ask, does De Zerbi coach player X to make this run? Finish like that? Make this dummy? I don't know, what I do know is that his system has settled his players and it allows them to play confidently and comfortably, hence the immediate impact new signings/youth players have in the team.

Having a flat attacking line is one of the many issues that is wrong with our attack and build up. A lot of it has to do with understanding and I expect a manager as good as Poch to get his ideas across.

They do though.

Welbeck

Mitoma - somebody - March/Lallana

This is brighton standard starting lineup. RDZ usually play one raw attacker or at most two with at least two dependable player to do the heavy lifting.

Brighton has 4 dependable attackers that rdz rotate and rdz does not just play raw player everywhere.

How many do we have? Nkunku n Sterling.

So we are actually more development team than brighton 🤭🤭🤭

. I don't feel we have a fanbase with that type of patience sadly, most couldn't handle a "process" season that came with 3rd place and cup finals.

Think the fans, players, and manager need to take the bull by the horns here and ride this out. We are all in the mud together. You all signed long term deals so you need to find a way to fix it.  It's all the more reason to stick by Poch and have something settled and established.

An outbreak of common sense. Everyone into lockdown.

So checking socials certain people are claiming that the players who left us Kante, Pulisic etc have been injury free since then.

Can anyone confirm that?

Pulisic has been injury-free so far at Milan I believe but they are only a few games into the season. RLC got injured this week. Haven't heard much about Kante.

Everyone needs to sit back and relax. It’s just a matter of waiting 18 to 24 months for Pochettino‘s box of positivity lemons to take effect as they apparently did at Spurs.

Not so much trust the process as trust the fruit.

Would it shock you if I told you this was me heavily moderating my posts....

Villa comes probably too early but I would really like to see Mudryk and Chilwell on the left. That would also put Colwill to his natural position as a CB.

I think we need to put some trust in Mudryk and let him play a ton. Also playing Chilly and Colwill out of position is a bit weird.

Poch won f**k all at Spurs and somehow managed to finish 2nd in Ligue Un with a forward line of Messi, Mbappe and Neymar.

He's an okay manager and would suit the likes of Everton or West Ham, but I've never been overly impressed with him.

He's playing players out of position and looks like he hasn't adapted over the past few years. He came out with a fanfare about winning things at Chelsea but results have been terrible so far.

Hard for anyone to argue with that. I’ve genuinely no idea where we go though. Picking a coach is becoming as big an issue for us as picking a centre forward.

When we got Tuchel I had no idea how things would be, it turned out he's a top manager that knows how to make a team of what's there.

Getting Poch, part from him having the Spurs history, is still a million times better than paying 20m for Potter, getting Potter is what set us 10 steps back and now Poch has more work to do.

I honestly thought Jose would’ve been a good option for short term just to sort this club out a bit! There is no way he’d put up with this board though. Same with Conte and Carlo.

I’m no way Anti-Poch at all, I just think the club is far too broken for him to try and sort it out. The same applied to Frank. If Poch can turn this round (like Tuchel in some way did) then he deserves massive credit!

The same Jose that has just signed up Lukaku ?

Saw this and thought it’s no wonder as look lost and confused:

”When Lesley Ugochukwu lined up for Chelseaagainst Bournemouth, he became the 37th different player to start for the club in the Premier League this year.

37 contains players bought by seven different managers from Mauricio Pochettino to Roberto Di Matteo.

Seventeen of them, despite starting a league game this year, are no longer at the club, either permanently or out on loan.

Pochettino, it seems, is trying to bring some calm. Under him, Chelsea have used 15 starters and only three clubs have used fewer. None of the signings from the Antonio Conte or Maurizio Sarri reigns remain. “

This is what fans need To understand we are a complete mess from top to bottom currently and need patience we have complete strangers playing together and fans expect it to click immediately which it won’t.
