Christ, watching him play and the things hes doing on the pitch...

Might need to start throwing around that infamous G word!

Hmmm, based on current trends at Stamford Bridge.... must be 'groin' injury?

The word was Generational lads 😂😂

Usually skeptical of South American wonderkids we sign, since we've invested in many of them in the past then you forget they exist.

This guy seems different though, he looks ridiculously good at such a young age, could this truly be?

Looks it, although we had all of this over Santos and he can't even get a game for Forest

Santos for one isn't as highly as rated as Paez.

Santos only has 11 first division appearances for Vasco da Gama, so it isn't surprising asking him to make the jump from the Brazilian 2nd division to the Premier League is too much.

If it wasn't for Lukaku he'd be at Strasbourg, which would've of been a perfect move for him.

Trying to stay grounded but hard when you see goals like that from a 16 year old. Maybe he’s the real deal and Mudryk goes to new levels - no harm being optimistic right! Think Angelo looks a really good player also.

He's going to win the ballon d'or apparently.

Predictions made that Chelsea player will win Ballon d’Or in his career (msn.com)

We need to take this with a large pinch of salt of course as Paez wasn't on @Whats_The_Mata? list of unknown talented youngsters we should have signed, and he has only been rated a 2 on his "Young Player sh*tometer"

Between him, Madueke, Palmer, Moreira, Gabriel, Hutchinson and Richards we at least shouldn’t have to buy a right winger for a while!

Most of those will be gone in the next 1-2 years. Can only see Palmer still being here. Unless someone bigger turns his head of course.

I’m weirdly excited by Richards. The rest I mostly agree with, Paez is up in the air while Hutchinson will never get a chance under Poch unless he goes through an immense growth spurt during the summer

Kendry Paez' latest goal

This is great but I do wonder what our scouts are making these judgement calls on. How can this be compared to anything remotely close to what he would experience in this country. The level of defending in that clip is laughable. Its so appalling that at any stage Paez has at least four options open to him. How can anyone watching football at this level think these players like Santos, Morreira, etc can make it in the Premier league.

The fresh face-ness of these lads is great and all, and I don't want to come across as negative but what about the lads already in our system. I find it a little ridiculous when people say that PL2, u21, and 18 football is pointless yet it looks every bit as competitive as these farmers leagues.

It is not lost on me that Ipswich have just gone 5-0 up against Sheff Wed. Omari Hutchinson scored 2 and just set up the fifth goal. I am not saying that Hutchinson has what it takes for our first team, but it's a damn sight better than some two Bob Brazilian league.

Omari Hutchinson is 4 years older than Kendry.
