If the club are still intent on selling Gallagher, Adams would be a great replacement imo. Defensively very strong, can play deep in midfield and is a good progressive passer. 

Lots of injuries;. Will fit in well.

Some are saying we have triggered his release clause, and he was left out by Leeds vs Cardiff.

Suppose we can have a bloated squad if most of them are never fit 😂. If we are looking for depth then I’m ok with this especially for £20m. 

He’s a bit over the hill at 24, but would be good value and defensive protection! 

Reading those above stats, I’m scratching my head at Caicedos valuation once again! 

20M is nothing, we pay more for kids these days. It's actually smart business, if he could stay fit and get regular starts, sell some shirts in US will help too.

Id sooner be seeing hall stick around to play in midfield than an injury prone leeds player.

Yes he's the current captain. Took over from Pulisic.

I think this could well be a very astute signing, hes a quality player who will play alongside the likes of Enzo and fit in perfectly. Always seemed to be Leeds`s best player last season when I saw them, mind thats obviously a very low bar.

We do. We are quite thin in midfield and Pochettino demand a lot from them

Prem experience, sells a few shirts stateside, he’s not going to push us to the next level but he’s a marginal step up from the likes of Gallagher. Injuries aside and for 20M it’s smart.

If this is a signing that would be as well as Caicedo, rather than an alternative, I'd be very happy with it, his defensive stats are quality and could play a key role in games where we will need to pack out the midfield a bit more a la Mikel.

Decent player, injury record isnt the best though. 

Edson Alvarez going to West Ham for £32m, wouldve preferred that tbh especiallyas he adds some aerial prowess too, but Adams is a more defensively astute Gallagher, has his limitations but could be a decent squad player so we dont have to use Enzo as the defensive player in the pivot if Caicedo isnt playing. 

He will take minutes from Santos though you would imagine. Is this going to hinder Santos's development? 

I'd imagine Santos goes on loan.

He has always impressed me when I have seen him play for Leeds or US national team. He has had his fair share of injuries and he is still recovering from hamstring problem so he won't be available for a few weeks. Not sure I can see us bringing in both Adams and Caicedo but it is good to have a decent alternative at a sensible price.

I reckon buy him, we’ll soon get the fee back anyway on our unreleased sponsor-less shirts!

Not sure what this means for Santos and Ugochukwu long term.
