    I'm not saying anything against this Adams transfer and i am not saying anything particularly for the one below but wasn't this guy Enzo's national team partner, part of the WC winning side.

    If we are going for squad depth, €6m. What am i missing?

    He is crap! Don’t read too much into international matches.

    Issue is he will probably be on one of those daft 7yr contracts, & he was already on £57k/w at Leeds. I can imagine that will be bumped to £75k/w minimum. We have sent a 19yr old Ugochukwu who we paid a £23m which is a large fee out on loan. What happens next season? 
    Madrid bought Camavinga at 18 & had him training with the first team and making the odd sub appearances in his 1st year. That is how a well run club operates. We could have used the Adams money to close early on Caicedo, & have Ugochukwu shadowing him in his 1st year.

    I suspect the reason is we can't make money on Paredes, unlike Adams who we could possible make profit on.

    Did he? I remember he said some PL proven experience, which would make sense. But at €6m this seems a decent price. However as has been mentioned elsewhere many think he is sh*t and his wages would be prohibitive for what we would be getting.

    Not sure I get this one, never looked that impressive when I watch last season.

    Where does this leave the new lad from France and Santos? Feels like we’re just bloating up the squad again with players that are very unlikely to take us to next level.

    Meanwhile the only real quality ‘first 11’ signing that we have targeted looks to be off up north instead. All a bit painful following the two injuries as well.

    Can’t imagine Poch is completely delighted with our summer’s work thus far?
