Another f**king winger??

He's more of a forward than a winger. I much prefer him to the Ollie Watkins link we've had recently.

I’m convinced if he stays at forest for another season his value will go way above 40m. Getting him now while his price is low is a really shrewd move tbh.

Ive watched him many times and he’s still pretty raw at the moment but he’s a very exciting player and with experience he should become a very good player, definitely more than good enough to compete for first team spot.

He Is A Good Player, Definitely Not A Winger, He Is Best At Either A 10 Or Second Striker, For Wales We Have Had Him On The Wing At Times But He's Best In The Welsh Setup With Another Striker Ahead Of Him, He Will Definitely Go Up In Price Next Season

What price is being mooted. He has been one of their stars in the Champ and the PL. I would be surpirsed if the price (to us) is low.

Was Olise classed as homegrown?  I can't see one reason for going Johnson, looks average at best and can't finish for toffee.  After the high of landing Caicedo we get linked with Brennan Johnson, and £45 million! Walk away quickly there must be 100s of better options.

Very good in the Championship, struggled with the step up last season. I'm not convinced he's anything more than a very good Championship player.

They have turned down £40m from Brentford, and want £50m. Sorry but he isn’t a £40m player. Like someone said in another thread he isn’t better than Morgan Gibbs who Forest paid £42m. 
There is a reason big European clubs don’t bother looking inside the PL for talents, they are well overpriced.
 

Watching him in the Championship, and last season, he strikes me as a lesser version of Ollie Watkins.

Seems he could be a good fit, he's no Federico Chiesa but arguably Forest's best player last season and I'm not overly confident we're a goal threat on the right flank.

Not sure why but when I heard this I thought of a SWP panic buy.

If we are insistent on a HG winger option it looks like City will be selling Cole Palmer, a better option then Johnson imo.

He's 22 right, too old anyway 🤫 This is what I don't like, got knocked back then we went to another guy most people wouldn't associated with us. The player and his agent know he's not the first choice, and 40M is a bit of stretch even he's a star player for Forest

I watched them last week against Arsenal. Not sure he is even good enough for mid table team

If we want to sign st who run behind in PL, sign Watkins.
