Problem is Jorgensen only has 1 season of top level football, and he won’t get better sitting on the bench at 22.

Maresca has specific build up pattern that he want to run and that involve his gk playing short passes. if his gk kick the ball long, his pattern is useless.

Are you using this as a defense of Sanchez? Cus i've lost count the amount of times i've watched him pass it short straight to the opposition.

I am not defending anybody. I am just explaining why Sanchez is playing over Petrovic.

But that doesn't explain why Sanchez plays over Petrovic?

btw @Bob stark Petrovic last season made more short per 90 with better accuracy than Sanchez. Sanchez also went long more often per 90 than Petrovic. 

 

Djordje Petrovic has agreed to join RC Strasbourg on a season-long loan deal.

 

Seems like a random loan just to get him out of the squad.

Apparently seen as a starter according to French media. GK in situ is Johnsson, a 34 year old Swede they got on a free from Bordeaux. A couple of worldie saves last weekend.

Petrovic gave me more confidence than Sanchez - but that isnt hard.  In reality, he was still pretty rubbish - and got beaten far too easily. Near post always seemed to be a weakness.

Anyway - good luck. Here is hoping to a good season, and a big transfer at the end of it or he develops exponentially and comes back).

Cant ever think he was signed to play in the first team and this could have been another reason why Poch walked, or was sacked, or whatever happened happened. 

Again, the singing and now loaning off just doesnt make much sense. Very capable keeper and Ramsdale moving to Southampton makes me question why we signed two other keepers when we could have got a decent number one. 

Cant wait for the end of the window.

Jorgensen looks to be potentially sh*te.

With that in mind I don’t think it’s a stretch that each of our other goalkeepers are likely to also be absolutely sh*te.

We need a collective term for Chelsea keepers. How about a morgue of Chelsea Gk’s?

Edit to add. Keepers who excel in systems like ours are few and far between. Of all the positions to absolutely have to get right it has to be the GK especially if you need him to actually play football.
