It was only the special transfer window that's now closed, there will also be the normal one very soon. I think the board have Maignan in the bag and will get it done as soon as the next one opens. It's not like the Club World Cup is some sort of tournament that decides the future of the club, I think a lot of clubs will treat it as a glorified pre season tournament in the beginning and then bring the important players in the latter stages.

Italian clubs deserve the dog's abuse in the market, skint c**ts that always look for the cheapest way to buy a good player, but when it comes to selling their own, they negociate like they're some sort of Saudi club that have unlimited funds. Hope we got into Maignan's head and he does not even want to go back there for the training camp.

My worry isn’t that the transfer window is still open, my worry is we can sign a player who goes on loan and proves he’s an upgrade on what we have and we won’t use him. Profit is more important. Petrovic was Strasbourg POTS over Andrey Santos… one of the best keepers in Europe. It’s honestly laughable.

It was already a travesty to let Petrovic leave after he earned that #1 spot last season. It's even worse now after he proved himself on loan. There's no merit. I'm sure this will do wonders to the confidence of all the children we're signing.

I suspect this is Ben Roberts' doing. As long as he's here, he won't allow Sanchez to he dropped.

What a terrible decision. Player of the season for his loaner club, massive growth, and stats to back it up. As I said elsewhere, if he wasn’t already a Chelsea player they’d try and sign him.

I’m baffled. Ridiculous decision. And continuation of season looks stupid also - show a little more respect.
