Chelsea v Forest (PL) Sat 2nd Sep 2023 15:00 GMT

It’s always the same old with Chels, we don’t impose ourselves on any team and have 0 ability to break down these lesser clubs that are happy to sit in and hopefully catch a break.

Forrest have had one shot on goal, one goal.

Unfortunately we’ve only had one shot on target as well, which I believe was Enzo’s delicate puff shot end of first half.

No one will shoot. No goals in this side at all

It's just as extreme when we win a game though. I keep seeing Enzo compared to Fabregas, which is an insult to how good Fabregas was. Even at Enzo age, Fabregas was one of the best midfielders in the world.

Comparing Enzo to Fabregas is nowhere close to saying he's a flop.

I saw the goal replay (was out running errands). Chelsea were very generous to gift that goal.

There is a lot to blame to go around but really thought the keeper should have done something besides falling down.

Did you really think that a team in huge transition will turn it on from the start.

The same thing I said during potter goes for poch. That is that fans need to be patient and manage their expectations. The team is 90% new. Huge turnaround of players in a small time.  Potter tried to install a new style - it was hard going and he paid the price, potentially putting us back at square 1.  Now poch is in and trying again to do something different - it will again be hard going at times. We need patience, or the merry go around continues.

I actually thought we'd be better to start and then run into trouble a bit longer as our youthful enthusiasm wore off and we had been physically beaten at a few hard away grounds.

Each player seems so isolated, so disappointing.

Credit to Forest for being disciplined, but we are not doing ourselves any favors atm.

Might be off-topic, but I'm already dreading facing Brighton in the Carabao Cup. We are going to be annihilated if we play like this.

He was never world class

Pretty sure we won the Champions league with him between the sticks and he was immense. May have been in and out of form after that, but the whole team was.

Don’t think there’s a keeper in the PL with a longer list of blunders than Sanchez. So, I dont understand why we swapped.

He wasn't ever world class

You are telling me you seriously have hope for this team being able accomplish something this season?

No - Read my post in response to Scot earlier. Or posts from last season about a team in transition. Manage your expectations

Keeps buying young wonderkids and hoping they score a goals 😕

I doubt any of them will ever go a whole season without scoring, unlike a certain striker now playing for Roma.
