September 17, 20232 yr It was imo our worst performances but nothing really change, we can't score. But as I said since our first game , box threat, box threat.
September 17, 20232 yr Positive post ....We have 2 of our 3 strikers injured, Sanchez played well, he had to though. Palmer looks good on the ball, and a starter for me. Players coming back from injury in the next few weeks. Clutching at straws I know, but I'm not going let my beloved club be dragged through the mud every week. If you dont want to watch your team then you shouldnt support them. If all supporters felt like that then two thirds of grounds would be empty every week. Our time will come again, just be patient .

We will be in the relegation zone before long. It'#s going to happen. We were laughed at for even mentioning the possibility. 2 wins in the last 18 games, this is relegation form. We are relegation candidates.

I’d consider Mudryk and Jackson better players. It’s Poch. He need to do better. Tuchel won the f*cking champions league with Werner and Havertz. Why? Why would you consider Mudryk and Jackson better than Welbeck? Is it because they cost more? Because neither have shown anything in their careers to suggest they're Welbeck level and that isn't hyperbole or even an opinion. That's the issue, Welbeck obviously isn't a top striker but the players we've brought in aren't on his level.
September 17, 20232 yr 3 minutes ago, enigma said: Exactly. It makes no f**king sense. Maybe it's just a confidence and settled team issue. Brighton have been fortunate with very few long term injuries. Meanwhile we can't keep a settled team because key player after key player gets injured. It does help to have that confidence and momentum. Newcastle had it last season, but this season they have it a little less so. Wasn’t it effectively a Brighton 2nd team that mauled Man Utd yesterday? Sure Mitoma & Estupian played. It’s the slow transition that is killing us. Ange hasn’t done anything dramatic to transform Spurs, it’s just get it up the pitch as quickly as possible. With us we keep passing it around aimlessly. You bet we are top of the possession stats.
September 17, 20232 yr There is 1 consistent theme throughout this disastrous period in our recent history. Todd Boehly New manager new players all wrong decisions and Boehly is at the heart of every one.Thats where all the anger should be focused

September 17, 20232 yr It’s arguably a combination of having an unsettled squad (constant injurues) + poor squad building. Edited September 17, 20232 yr by Sconnie Blue
September 17, 20232 yr Sorry to say it but that's awful football. Feel for the folk that travelled down. Villa next in the league. The way they came back against Palace yesterday was impressive. Think a draw at best. Already feeling nervous. Til next time KTBFFH

Only thing going for us is Poch has not been here long, meanwhile Ten Hag has been there for over a season. Utd will pull away from us sadly. We are much worse than them. They are a shambles but are least they can score.

September 17, 20232 yr Worst performance of the season, absolute jokers the lot of them. Can’t see where the next goals coming from until Nkunku is back

If you watched city yesterday you would have seen that halaand missed 3 easy chances then scored the 4 one. With this Chelsea team he will get 2 chances maximum per game

It's like some are thinking that because Chelsea signed them and for lots of money, that makes them better by default. What have any of these players done in their careers that makes them better than most starters in this league? Most of them have barely even started their careers, like Palmer, and we sign them for absurd amounts of money. It's a disastrous strategy, something I have never seen in the game before and for good reason. Edited September 17, 20232 yr by Scott Harris
September 17, 20232 yr I think we've been fortunate with the coaches we've had in the past. Now we need to be patient with Pochettino. Things aren't going to come together just like that, but I did understand that we would go through rough patches like this. I guess it's better to start off poorly and hopefully pick up form, then vice versa. I hope it picks up anyway because there's no other top coaches out there. Edited September 17, 20232 yr by enigma

I was into Poch taking over but what is he doing tactically, why is Colwill playing left back and why is Enzo so high? Enzo was absolutely anonymous today. I think we just have to accept we are genuinely a mid table side at best. This is going to be a hard watch this season. Boehly and co are the worst thing that could have happened to us. It wasn't, it was Boris and that other wa**er MP who pushed for sanctions against us.

When we get Nkunku back and hopefully Jackson finds some form, we'll have more of a goal threat. Right now we have little goal threat apart from Sterling. Jackson is still adapting so I would not be too harsh on him.
September 17, 20232 yr Should never have signed Mudryk, Diasi, Ugo, Sanchez, Palmer, Sterling, Cucurella for the money we paid. That's like 300m down the drain. Other than Sterling, I never knew who the other lot were before we signed them. My club have been ruined and I saw it coming.

This isn't solely a new owner issue. Roman should have made us a genuine force when Mourinho won the title 10 years ago when he came back to the club, but never did. I mean I've said it before a lot, but Roman is also a big part to play in where we are now. The last decade under Roman was poor with some very crap signings that never took us to the next level. I'd say Chukwumeka getting injured has been nearly as big a blow as losing Nkunku. He was the one player who looked a genuine number 10 capable of linking our midfield and attack.
