Bookies make Arsenal favourites which is understandable and I know this is weird to say why I am hoping this may point towards our favour but it is rare to see a big team lose to another big team at home 4 seasons running, which is what will happen if we lose on Saturday. Eventually the results have to swing in our favour against them...

I am not sure why Caicedo has to start at all cost. Some people say we need him to stop odegaard. If Enzo and our fb is being pull apart then it will be very difficult for Caicedo to stop odegaard getting shot from cutback.

I think if you're gonna task one of our midfielders with shutting down Odegaard it's more likely to be Gallagher

Although he may just as likely be used to help support a fullback dealing with one of their wingers I suppose

 

Pochettino says we need to assess Jackson, Disasi and Reece tomorrow. May or may not be able to be part of the squad.

Broja has irritation in his knee, the knee that did NOT suffer the ACL injury, so is out along with all the others that were previously injured.

Badiashile likely to be on the bench.

Yes Enzo has been assessed as good to go. Surprisingly, despite the earlier kick off game, Caicedo arrived back after Enzo, yesterday in the afternoon.

Pochettino believe he will be fine to play as well, though he was less sure sounding on him, understandable as he has had less assessment time that Enzo.

 

Arsenal have yet to concede an away goal in the league this season. 

We have 4 goals in 4 home league games, 3 against Luton, 2 blanks vs Villa and Forest.

Want to beat these arseholes more than any other team, well just a tad more than the victims and the spuds.

A lot depends if Saka is fit. If he has a good game they should win. 

If he’s out I fancy us to nick it but If Jackson doesn’t make it for us then I’ve no idea who plays where in the 3 behind the No 9.Not a fan when Sterling plays in the middle up top or as a 10.

Has Mudryk ever played up top? His pace over 10-20 yards could be a game changer and they like to play a high line.

Some rumours Cucurella will remain at RB as Pochettino expects Trossard or Martinelli will cut in from the left on to their right foot and believes Marc can nullify that threat.

That actually makes sense but in all honesty I will prefer James or Gusto on the overlap because arsenal have one weakness and its zinchenko. If u watch the ucl final goal that havertz scored , it was caused by zinchenko

I don't quite get this over hype of Raya. He's decent enough but I think Ramsdale is being poorly handled.

I can actually see parallels with what Arteta is doing to what Pep did with Hart, making a statement move by bombing him for Raul Bravo. Nothing wrong with Bravo but it went t*ts up rapidly with him.

It would be great to be the starters of a similar wobble.  Pepper him and if he throws one in we can start to undermine their defensive confidence.

We haven't beaten Arsenal at home since 2019. Just shows how poor we have been for the past 3 seasons. It will likely be a low scoring affair, cancelling each other out. These games rarely ever live up to the hype. The only rivalry that seems to live up to the hype these days between us and a rival, is the Chelsea/Liverpool games. They are generally good games even if low scoring.

Really hope we show up today and give a great account of our progress.  We need some home wins against bigger sides (well, any side) to keep building confidence.  My only concern is another game week with selection issues upon us - one day we'll play our best hand!
