The two last red cards are all down to James and Connor bad judgement

It's not just them though, some of the sloppy and careless passes in the back also seem ill-disciplined. If Poch hasn't already, he needs to have a team meeting on this.

Can't see Potch lasting the season or certainly next if this continues.  While these players are young they are  experienced, all have played in other leagues or even in the EPL or at a high level as well as internationally, so for me the excuse of being a young inexperienced side is wearing extremely thin.

Gallagher is the most overrated Chelsea player in the team.

Terrible performance from the team since we scored the 2nd but Gallagher has likely cost us 3 points there, can't see us scoring another goal now. We have to hope Brighton f**k it up.

we're very frustrating at the moment. there's talent there but we never look in control of the game. I had thought Enzo and Caicedo would have been a watertight combination but they're not

I think Conor panicked unnecssarily because of the Brighton goal. Without the Brighton goal, I don't think he goes in for the challenge. But then again, it's Conor so he might have just had a brain fart moment.

Even before the goal and red card we were overly aggressive and conceding fouls everywhere, some in dangerous positions. (See Disasi’s brain dead sniff, track and foul outside our box).

This is on Poch.

Unfortunately, this team is so mentally weak these days, that you just known with absolute certainty, that they will crumble completely in the 2nd half.

Yeah Brighton will turn this around now. Got Mitoma and Gros to help with that.

I had a feeling things were going to go south when the defence and Sanchez started playing keep ball and inviting pressure.

Also, I have no idea why we stopped doing what worked so well with the set pieces. We tried playing through them, didn't work. We have 4 CB's on the pitch and both our goals came from that. Abuse the set pieces, run down the line, kick it at them, just win the corner at all means. They were rattled every time we got one.

Might play into our hands for a breakaway goal using Sterling and Mudryk's pace ?

Watch Poch sub Mudryk now LOL

Mudryk never plays a full 90, bet your house on him getting taken off, he'll come off before Jackson does.

Abysmal since the 2nd goal.

The amount of times we gave the ball away in our own half was a joke. We are so slow with our movement, passing, it's just sh*te football. Pochettino is doing nothing to change the way we play, it's just the same sh*te for years now. No wonder why the crowd are dead, they are being forced to watch the most gutless and boring football imaginable.

No chance we get a point, let alone 3 now.

Gallagher’s got the same football brain problem as Cucurella. Always crashing into situations, risking getting caught out or getting bookes. Idiot.

Mudryk       Sterling
         Palmer

   Enzo Caicedo

Play Palmer like a false 9 thing and rely on Mudryk and Sterling to cause trouble from the sides.

he said we didn't challenge enough at Newcastle, so today they're all needlessly fouling - we've got to be smarter than this

You know, today we've also faced a incredibly inexperienced side with an average age of about 20 I would imagine. These are Brightons reserve all over the pitch and they have still thoroughly outplayed us. Their £25 million midfield with a 19 and 21 year old have outplayed our £250m midfield for example.

Hope we win but this has been a sack of sh*te.

Really hope we take off Jackson for Palmer. More likely he takes off Mudryk which would be a shame as he looks the most likely to create.

Bank on Mudryk coming off. Normally would be Lesley but I think he won't trust Matos and will go with Palmer.

Should be Broja on, need some threat on the break. That is not Sterling, he should be sacrificed, worst of the 3 attackers by a slim margin as Mudryl was poor until that one lovely turn and shot.

Replacing Poch will not fix the problem just start us over again

Trying to play like prime Barcelona when really we scored more being like Stoke.
