Gallagher is such a limited footballer, but you can give him a pass if he is reliable. Last 2 games he has gone from jumping out of challenges, to jumping into challenges and getting sent off. Just over 18 months since he got 2 yellows at home to Leicester. Mid table player.

On the positive side, we look like we could still get a 3rd, but I have about 5% belief we actually get a win out of this considering what we have endured for 2 years.

Look at Brighton’s goal. Zero effort/energy to close him down.

Silva must look around him and wonder what is going on. Professionally accepted vice captaincy being removed, yet still ends up with the arm band in the absence of Reece, Chilly and Gallagher, two self inflicted.

I dont think anyone suggested Gallagher, almost everyone was surprised when Poch gave him the arm band

Pochettino should have never looked past Silva for the captaincy appointment this season. As long as he is here then he's the leader.
