Thiago Silva leading by example and running over to applaud the travelling support. Most of the rest of them looked like they'd rather be anywhere else.

A f**king disgrace by the rest of them.

Tuesday night travelled all the way up there, early hours home if they are lucky.

A little gratitude goes along way.

Horrible performance, Horrible players , Horrible tactics and subs and in the end Horrible Manager.

These consistent bad performance and  losing most  away games is getting very depressing.....May be I need some time off away from Chelsea.😢😟

Petrovic - Had nothing to do, but was still on the losing side.

Gusto - Overran everything. Could barely control the ball.

Colwill - Disaster class in the first half.

Silva - Playing amongst a sea of sh*t.

Disasi - Offers nothing.

Caicedo - Lazy as f**k, passing is hit and miss, positionally sh*t. Only looks half interested at times.

Enzo - Slow, lacks athleticism, easy to play against.

Gallagher - Passion merchant, runs around and does f**k all else. Crap footballer outside of running around like a headless chicken.

Sterling - Trash player showing his true self once again. Plays well once in five games and everybody will have you believe he is world class. He's never been world class, he's always been one of the most infuriating English players of his generation and he will never help us improve. Not even better than Kalou.

Madueke - Like watching the Madueke that joined. Could barely control the ball and was legs all over the place. Bambi on ice.

Palmer - Worst game in a Chelsea shirt. Reminded me of why I grew to dislike Havertz so much. Lazy shooting, cocky, no respect for the opposition.

Subs - As sh*te as anybody else today.

Pochettino, fraud. Bluffed his way to the top of the game. Hasn't changed a single thing about this Chelsea team. Good managers at the very least change the style, he can't even manage that. Amazing how this guy coaches so many teams that bottles it.

What a "team" Boehly and Clearlake has created.

Always have to look on the bright side. They might not have any of their 14 injured players back for the second leg.

It’s a shame ours are cup tied, a few quick loans of some of our first team to them and we might be able to beat them.

Middlesbrough are absolutely dreadful. And they've still beaten us.

The difference in level comes from fitness and energy. If you use a PL level of energy and running, stretching the pitch and switching the ball at pace with penetrative runs, a Championship team will run out of gas and fold.

If you adopt a half arsed attitude,  don't put in the mileage, sloppy in possession, kill all the pace then the Championship side will be able to battle with you for 90 mins and because our management set up has no structure, organisation or pride in ensuring PL standard players have a decent level of control and care of the ball, well then we will always give the ball to them.

Fck me, what tactic was it to go 3 at the back and then have Colwill, Silva and Disasi trade 10 passes in their own half without a forward pass and no Boro player with 10 yards of them. Pathetic management

Palmer should have put those chances away but not going to ahve a go at him since he's been one of our best players. We still have 1 more leg at the bridge which I'm confident we will win

I'm glad you are because I'm not.

Losing the first leg is the worst thing that could've happened, this team are a bunch of sh*tty arses, they won't be able to handle the pressure of being behind in the 2nd leg.

Just when I thought I couldn’t feel any worse

I wonder what Todd Bully, Eggbhali Svengali and ClearFake think about their project now ?

Its sad to think that it appears it has to get a lot worse than the pile of dog excrement the club / team has become under them for them to act

Clueless from the Board room to the Locker room (a little colonialism there) !!

This was always going to be a difficult match, cold windy night on the NE coast is not for the faint hearted. The basic requirement in a SF is to show passion and intensity, allowing your quality to shine through. Instead not for the first time we get a flat performance, little endeavour, everything we have come to expect under the Pochettino reign. Little wonder he loses so many semi finals.

Our thoughts have to be with those who made the 500 mile round trip to see  this utter sh*te show.
We also need to give a mention to Bert and Ernie our Co-Sporting Directors who have travelled the world with an open cheque book to assemble this shambles. Bert and Ernie tend to get a bye ball when the criticism is flowing so please keep them in your thoughts for the rest of this season.

Oh and Poch a word for you,  Enzo was our best player tonight so WTF did you take him off?

I once got the boat to Holyhead, hitchhiked to London, sang my heart out for 90 minutes while wtaching Oxford beat us 1-4.

That was dross - this is a young team, with a new manager, at the beginning of what will hopefully lead to a bright future. They deserve, at the very least, a bit of respect.

That children is what we call perspective.

What the hell is this expected goals bollocks? It just had a stat saying we had something like 2 shots, 75% possession and then 2.17 expected goals. Who expected us to get 2.17 goals? I expected us to get 0 goals. And how the f**k do you get .17 of a goal? You can get two goals or three goals but you can’t get 2 point anything goals.

One stat that was missing and is absolutely irrefutable is that we are absolutely f**king sh*t.

It’s like Sunday morning when you only had 7 players and you phone Dave’s mate Chris who has a mate with boots and might know someone else. You end up with a bare 11 lads, who have to call each other by given names and if they are booked give the goalies name.

Youre hanging from a huge session the night before.

Even then we tried harder than this.

Brilliant - although you forgot to mention the 2 quick fags at half-time.

Absolutely spot on.

I would only argue the Madueke rating but even that would be a bit of a stretch because while he was the only one in attack trying to take on players and trying to create something, obviously nothing came off it.
