I do think the switch to 5 at the back and taking off all our attackers was the wrong move, it just invted even more pressure. I can see why he did it, but we no longer had any counter presence, so it was just att vs def

A point away to the best team in the country is no mean feat. Still got a lot to be proud of today, even if we did get our hopes up for all three points.

Legendary performance from Disasi in particular. Gary Cahill would have been proud of that. Really, really solid.

Lost 4-1 at the best side in the country.

A draw away at the second best is still a fine result though. Just stings how it happened.

Overall a great performance. Showing signs that some players are finally showing signs of their potential.  A team that actually looks like a team and not just individuals.

A bit more confidence going in to the final, but we still need more consistency.

hope poch realises this is down to him. i know its city away but we outplayed them until negative subs madness. you cant defend for 30mins in premier league .end of. a lost 2 points .wasnt a fan of gusto all season until last 3 matches hes shown intelligent play . good play . hes impressed me.

Magnificent performance and an unexpected point.

Some fans need to give their head a wobble as to where we are at the moment compared to City. We are beginning to see the cream rising to the top in our squad.

Disasi was exceptional. Colwill started slow but had his best game for us. If Silva starts the cup final ahead of either then he definitely has photos of Poch in his Spurs pyjamas.

Enzo excellent as was Caicedo but Gallagher was my pick of the midfielders for me. The City players were hating playing against him.

Palmer oozed class.

Both wing backs were great especially Gusto. He’s excellent going forward but just as good defensively.

Considering our away form, tonight is our best performance of the season in my opinion.

Bring on Liverpool. They’re favourites but we can definitely win it

Very good result, and a solid performance from everyone really. Only gripe with Poch, was I felt that move to a back 5 came 10 minutes too early, as we were still looking dangerous, and 2nd goal wouldve been 3 points.

Needed Haaland to have an off day, which he did.

Disasi with the best 90 minutes in a Chelsea shirt.

The extra two points would have been nice but more importantly the fight, togetherness and the obvious desire to play for the shirt gives me hope for the future.

Now can we see that when we go to Forest, Brighton and host West Ham?

Very good performance, tactical error though on 70 mins to defend with little outlet

Missed chances cost us..though they similarly missed a few

Shape of the team overall was good and transitions where good

Fair result ultimately, we again competed with the best

Haha where was Colwill supposed to move his arm there? Would have been ridiculous to give that as a penalty.

There was a little movement toward the ball... obviously not enough 🙂

You can't  take off your defensive outlet players bring on 3 players who haven't played all season against City away and expect to defend without  conceding We are lucky we didn't loose. Pochettino subs in most games this season have been piss poor

Oh be quiet.

They were dominant before the subs and were beginning to run over us. If we’d continued with the same shape we could easily have lost that game.

Trying to figure out Wacko’s performance. The lads in Sky think he was a constant threat,

There was a definite improvement I think

Terrible first touch on his big chance, and a terrible pass in the second half with Sterling in the clear. But he gave a good ball for Sterling's goal. So a bit of good and bad all told. He really is looking more and more like Timo Werner with every game. Technically not great but can cause problems when he puts himself about.

One thing is 100% certain. Like Timo he isn't a centre-forward.

In defense of Pooch, I think he thought nkunku for jackson was like for like... just didn't work out that way... thought njunku was a bit lazy actually.

And Jackson was very pro-active...

“Gave a good ball”. 😂

f**k me it breaks you to even compliment him. His flick completed dismantled City’s press that had Gusto clear through.

More of that fantastic dribbling too.

f**k me. You need to give your agenda a rest.

Colwill was average on the night. Not critical as he’s had few opportunities in his proper position and the opposition was rop class but he was wrong side of his mand and failed to anticipate more than once.

Nkunku sub was not where he messed it up. The trev one gave City a little more incentive to push up but the Casadei one took off our hardest working forward and within a minute Casa fails to close down Rodri and they score. Had Jackson stayed on he blocks that and we win imo.

Would have taken a point before the game. In the end, we just about hung on, despite the manager’s attempts to lose us the game.

Disappointed and baffled by the subs which just put us on the back foot way too early. I could understand Chalobah coming on, but Pochettinho just seemed to panic, dragged off all the forwards and nearly cost us the game. Good thing this wasn’t a final as we’d have almost certainly lost if we had to play another 30 mins. No wonder he’s never won anything.

In retrospect we’ll see that as a good point. But a braver manager might have got us three points.
