Would be gutted to see this guy leave on loan or sold. Genuinely very, very good player starting to find confidence and belonging at this club. Keep him in the squad this season and give him minutes.

Gotta agree with Jim on this one, yet to see anything from George in comparison those ‘can’t miss’ prospects of similar age to suggest he’ll ever be anything more than a complimentary squad player here.

For his own career a loan or sale seems the best bet.

I'm still not convinced by George either however I'm convinced by Garnacho. Convinced he is lower table quality at best so utterly no point bringing him in ahead of George

Agreed, George is on a level with Gilchrist where they’re obviously good players with their Cobham upbringing but I don’t think they’ll be good enough for Chelsea long term.

Honestly never seen much to convince me he's going to be top level. Honest, tries hard, at least a level below, eg, CHO at the same stage.

Are we able to sell players to Strasbourg with a buy back option and a 100% sell on clause? And remain compliant with any prevailing transfer/ loan rules.

Very good youth prospect but we can't rely on him the whole season to play 15mins in the closing stages, it's too brutal.

He'll be able to develop in a midtable/lowertable club. If a championship club comes in with a loan offer, we should take it

It looks like he is being sold. Good level player with good future ahead of him but I personally see him more of a lower level side player than Chelsea level.

Probably going to be a deal similar to CHO where the transfer fee is peanuts but with a very hefty sell on clause.

Would've preferred a loan but given the bizarre recruitment we've seen with Gittens + Garnacho he won't ever have a chance here.

Yeah I’m not the biggest George fan but he’s certainly no worse than Gittens who we’ve just spunked a small countries GDP on. Sometimes the recruitment is baffling.

I get the feeling Beavis and Butthead want to claim full responsibility for future successes with their recruitment and academy players don’t fit into that model.

Selling George and buying Gittens is just comical as they are both as the same level and one has come through our academy and will fight for the club.

Gittens was briefly in the Chelsea academy many years ago. I am not against Gittens - have yet to see enough of him play - but can he really be 50 million quid good?

Its Connor Gallagher/ Felix all over again. Forcing a better prospect out of the club and replacing it with a inferior model. There is no need to sign Simple Jack. Give George minutes and next season he'll be worth twice the goon juice the board will get this season. Sell Jackson andthe bomb squad and we wont need to get rid of prospects who will and can do a job for us. Sancho/Felix last season, not here now, I hate the transfer windows the past few years.

George isn’t really the touchline winger Maresca wants for this system so makes sense to sell.

I think George will find more success elsewhere as a goal scoring winger similar to Salah’s role.

Ibrahim Rabbaj [16] is the player to watch apparently. He is a bit short, so he will need some of the Messi growing drugks.

He's off to Fulham on a permanent transfer.
