Sterling has been gash but I do like something I've just seen. The way the players ran to him first before celebrating with Palmer to give him a pat you know they can tell he's going through a tough patch, support and respect him.

That's got to count for something if he has that support in the dressing room.

Because amidst the chaos and reports these players are still very united.

He's on life support with the fan base...

Hmm sterling having one of those days .. when you want the earth to open up.. I think the England call up is messing with his head.. but I really do think Palmer and Sterling don’t get along..

Great to be 2 up at half time and could have been more but mostly good performances. What I don't get is that we've already reached a cup final and could well be on for another. So why so good in cup games but poor in the bread and butter of the league? So inconsistent

Sterling raises his level slightly above Bakayoko levels!

Still getting PTSD just from seeing Bakayoko's name mentioned.

All probably a direct response of him getting booed by the crowd a couple of games back.

If he's a popular guy, and I think he is, then the whole squad will rally round him to try and get him through it, including perhaps (temporarily) giving him the penalty job.

So it's a good solid tick in the squad togetherness and team spirit box from me :-)

You cant blame him though his confidence is shot and sterlings performance is only good when hes got good players around him and he can do tap ins like in city now hes in chelsea and hes the experienced one hes probably feeling the pressure..

Had 2 chances but got the assist and atleasts hes working hard, still needs to be subbed though

mudryk looks good at cam

jackson good 1v1 ability for 1st goal

Sanchez looks shaky

Opening goal was decent with Jackson showing good movement to set up Cucu, surprised to see Cucu so far advanced yet nice one.

Sterling looked uninterested and then the penalty, was he meant to take that? Anyway a poor penalty and then that later chance he misses.

For the second goal he works well to break and find Palmer.

We should be 4 up yet at least a two goal cushion.

Mudryk for me is playing well yet Palmer quiet goal apart, I think he is being marked tightly in their half so he is coming deeper.

Gusto getting forward sporadically final ball wanting so far.

Sanchez a couple of bad moments, his judgement is questionable at times.

Gallager and Caicedo doing ok for me.

The majority are having a good game, but a few of them, mainly Sanchez and Sterling, have been very poor.

I still can't think of a game where everybody on the pitch were on the same level.

Wolves at home. Wrong level though!
