Unpopular opinion, but Palmer is better than Sterling by some distance. 

Interesting enough half to watch albeit slightly lacking in a lot of quality football.

 

Mudryk has shown the occasional spark of what he can be capable of and also showing far more grit defensively which is good to see. Caciedo also a good shift as has Cucurella and Jackson.

 

Palmer little too quiet before scoring and Disasi worrying me.

 

Meanwhile utter car crash performances from Sterling and Sanchez. I don't see Sanchez getting hooked but Sterling probably would have been if he hadn't pulled that late assist out of the bag. 

 

 

 

 

 

Lovely goal. Nice cross from Sterling and finish from Palmer. 

Castledine would’ve had a goal and assist.

Sterling has been gash but I do like something I've just seen. The way the players ran to him first before celebrating with Palmer to give him a pat you know they can tell he's going through a tough patch, support and respect him. 

That's got to count for something if he has that support in the dressing room.
