So what have we learned?

Mudryk can beat a man, Sterling can't

Disasi knows where the goal is, Sterling doesn't.

You can't rely on Sanchez to keep a shot out of the net, you can rely on Sterling

Even Poyet doesn't get booed at the Bridge, Sterling does.

Common theme here! Surely that's the end of Sterling as a regular starter.

The subs scoring makes it even more embarrassing that Poch kept Sterling on for so long.

what must Mudryk be thinking to see Sterling stay on the pitch longer than him after the performance he was putting in. Just abysmal man management.

So Pochettino puts on Chukwuemeka and Madueke. Both score and win us the game but that was a big mistake by Pochettino? Is this what you are saying?

He's had a handful of decent games this season and he's barely played. The problem I have with Pochettino's decision-making on this is that if Madueke is having an average game he's hooked immediately, whereas Sterling can drop 4/10 performances week after week and still get a start.

I'm not saying Madueke is going to be world class, but I would rather give him the chance, he's definitely got something about him.

maybe because sterlings scored 160+ goals in PL in his career? not hating but that must be pochs thinking

I can't even remember the last time Sterling had a good game.

There's only so much a reputation can carry you, he's wasting a place in the team the more he plays.

should have took off sterling first to make a statement to the rest of the team but he hooked off mudryk who was playing good and putting in a shift...

that would signal to the experienced heads that if they play sht they get more chances.

little things like that make a big difference in football

I agree the faster hes off to saudi the better, should be subbed on at 60-70 mins until he plays good

He's saying Poch is hell of a sh*t manager. Up until the moment of not hooking Sterling first, I can honestly say I was on the fence with Poch. That decision alone has made me realise the sooner he is moved on the better.

Happy with the result but we nearly threw the game away due to lack of focus and crumbling under pressure when things aren't going well.

Between Sterling, Sanchez and Disasi it's difficult to pinpoint who was the biggest waste of space today. The mistake that led to an own goal, this is schoolboy stuff, it was a shocker from Disasi and clearly rattled him. Sanchez nearly conceded the ball because he was too slow to pass and was flopping at crosses which a better team would have taken advantage of. And last, but not least, Raheem. It's incredible how someone with such a low footballing IQ could have played for so long at the top level and evidently has learned nothing. If I was a neutral watching it I'd be laughing my ass off but this type of performances are just an insult to our support. Palmer who's eight years younger looks like a seasoned veteran next to Sterling, how's that even possible.

Shouldn’t have even started. Poch doesn’t play on merit unless your name is Gallagher.

Hmm City or Pool, City or Pool.

Don't think we get Coventry. Purely on the basis that it seems to be the two that play on the same day and win quarter finals draw each other for the semi finals I think we get Pool.

They will save City vs Pool for Klopps goodbye horrah in the final.

Has that not always been the case in football?

We gave Di Matteo the long term job after the CL despite him being absolutely terrible in charge of us because the opposition missed chance after chance.

Hard to sack a winning manager.

Can never prove it but my theory is Roman wanted to make the change with Rafa that summer but didn't want to ruin the fans summer in the sun, so to speak.

I think you absolutely should sack a manager despite winning a trophy if you feel he's not the right man to take you forward, as nice as it would be on the day there's many bang average managers that have won domestic cups.

Because he's usually useless and is always the worst player on the pitch when he starts a game?

Been took off at half time in 5 of his last 6 starts

You are the equivalent of Sterling on here. You get everything wrong and we are all booing whenever you post.

What a strange argument. We won the game in extra time against 10 men with the subs, why are you upset with the manager?

Erm, maybe because the subs should’ve came on well before that? Particularly BEFORE Leicester’s equalizer?

Mr. Reactive Pochettino.

I've never seen a group of professional footballers, go from looking extremely confident in their ability to a shambolic mess resembling a pub team in such a short space of time during a match. At times our passing is so sloppy, too many overhit and absolutely no cohesion in our play.

Need to rid the team of Bozo’s.
