This team lacks bravery. Palmer has it, Madueke tries when he gets the ball, but the rest shy away from responsibility. How can the likes of Jackson cry about not being allowed to take a penalty when he chokes in big moments? Nobody attempts a pass through the defence, only Madueke will run at their defenders. Palmer will try a shot. Everybody else takes the safe approach.

Decent half from us. Some signs of organisation and planning in our play. We just need that touch of class and we do have the players to do that. City double teaming on Madueke which we should look to exploit with Gusto and Palmer.

Jackson chance is still pissing me off

If the chances don't fall to Palmer we won't score 98% of the time.

The other 2% is shared by a Madueke long range special or Jackson hit and hope.

On the plus side City only have 45 minutes, plus add ons, to batter us now.

En route to see a music. On a scale of dog dirt to solid gold legends how are we doing?

From reading through the post we ain't know Chelsea ladies in Barca today that's for sure.

Considering the opposition and the occasion for this team I think we’ve done really well.

Jackson has been good but a couple more years on him and I think he tucks away that chance.

Encouraging to see this young side go toe to toe with the best team in the league and also shows Poch is more than capable (just getting this in before the half time team talk)

Our passing in attacking areas is so poor, overhit, underhit, mis-placed, always the wrong choice it seems.

Don't think I've seen it this bad in quite a while.

I disagree, i think we managed to creat some serious damage with our passing in attacking areas today, the problem is that we didn't finish those chances the right way, specially Jackson.

I thought both of our league games were better than this.

City are clearly leggy and feeling the effects of that Champions League game, and I think we have wasted the opportunity so far. We've been awful playing out of our own half and the attack is not brave enough to expose City when they get the chance.

I think both teams have been poor.

Should be 1 or 2 up. City looking really tired and sloppy. We're looking alert but still sloppy. The longer the game goes on, the better it will be for us, I reckon.
