Probably and this is my opinion some of our home fans moans and groans does affect our players at home.

To an extent maybe although we did smash Palace and were criminally unlucky.

The only way we can stop it is with results, the fans couldn't get over Jose 2.0 and Lamps leaving until the results showed we clearly made the correct call.

Bigger tests to come next month, but at least we're getting good enough results now to keep the positivity levels high.

Credit where it's due, winning 3 away games in quick succession and keeping two clean sheets deserves to be acknowledged.

6 points from Brighton and Forest puts us in a good position come the tough round of fixtures.

All players are performing well. We don’t have to rely only on Palmer like we did last year. Madueke Palmer Sancho Nkunku can all be MOTM on their day and this is due to Maresca. He has everyone on their toes because if they don’t perform they can easily be benched.

So fat i am very optimistic and haven’t felt this excited since Conte.

Not probably. It definitely does. Experienced players most of the time react negatively to the crowd on their back, not to mention youngsters which the team is filled with.

No experienced heads to call them together and say just keep your focus, play your game or this is how you overcome it. They have to experience it and learn on the fly.

There's a reason why the opposition fans target specific players with boos and there's also an important reason the fans are called the 12th man.

Finally a manager that has levels to his game

If you dont perform you get benched simple as

I feel like poch kept playing outform players just to keep everyone happy but maresca will do anything to keep levels high

Coincidence jackson scored 2 after nkunku saved the day last week?

Finally real competition in the squad

This is so wide of the mark. Jackson was awful last game against Bournemouth and yet, was still selected. Missed 3 excellent chances in that game. And yes, it turned out brilliantly today. But based on his performance, and the quality N'kunku added when he came on, Jackson should not have started today.

Palace halted us playing the low block. City are city.

Can Maresca figure out how to sort out our home form and Crack the low blocks?

If he can then maybe, just maybe, many of us will be proven wrong about him.

Our problem last year was against long ball (still a problem), aggressive high press team (e.g bournemouth, so still a problem ) and a low block team.

What is good so far about maresca is that he doesn't force his man to man press

Well, we had a player come straight out and say the team didn’t like playing at home last year. It did feel like fans were coming into games swayed by coverage of things like the owners.

We were told by Leicester fans that Maresca would doggedly do the same thing every match: “one way to play”

And he has been the opposite. We came out playing a possession-based, counter attack system that he basically admitted he designed around  the weird way West Ham have been setting up. People are saying West Ham was poor, but Enzo created that. They looked like a guy who’s prepped for a fight, then sent the wrong address and had no one to punch. They had no idea what to do.

This West Ham is exactly the type of team that fits Jackson as they defend high and leave tons of room for runs.

Wake up and smell the coffee will you? Yes he was "still selected" and he scored twice and made the assist for the third so the manager was right and you should sit down and be quiet since Jackson proved everyone wrong (myself included), saying that he still shouldn't have started sounds like a piss poor take at the moment considering the reality of it all...

I love this! I was not in favor of appointing Maresca. Stated on hear that we had gone from appointing the hottest prospect in football management 20 years ago to the day to a guy who's credentials include, getting the best team in the championship to fall over the line and worked for pep. (like when people used to love to employ fergi assistances)

There is a long way to go, but so far can't really fault him, and I want this arrogance in a manager. Hope to come back here in 8 months very much eating humble pie

I like how Maresca is not afraid to make bold decisions. For example, I think we all were surprised when Palmer came off yesterday, none other than Palmer himself and if you read Palmer's lips, you can see him say "Me?". Palmer has sense of understandable arrogance due to the levels he has set, but it is almost as Palmer thought "how the hell could you be taking me off". But I think Maresca saw it as with it being 3-0, and with West Ham going to have more of the ball, our best outlet is on the counter with pace, which Madueke offers and Palmer not as much, so it made sense but I was just surprised. I personally thought he should have done that against Bournemouth as I thought Palmer had one of his most ineffective game last week, however it was just good to know that Maresca will make decisions based on how he sees the game going, rather than reputation.

He got his tactics spot on yesterday. Keeping faith in Jackson in the large pitch and West Ham's high line. Taking Fofana off whilst on a yellow and Neto came on right time. Liking what I am seeing so far.

I remember seeing that around. Though I did remember one particular fan caveated it with, he might be different with Chelsea that's got much better players.

Exemplified by Leicester's near best, KDH, looking a rung below most of the players even we feel aren't that great in their day to day performances.

I remain quietly optimistic and trying not too get too excited or heap the praise on yet but if Arteta is who we go by, we might just have something since they were both cut from the same cloth.

I'll withhold any admiration until we have a bigger sample. Pleased with the points against the Hammers at their rental though.

Ooof. Dutch stiletto under the short rib.
