From Top 4/ title run form to relegation form in two months.

Only 12 more games before we get his replacement.

At a certain point top 4 will slip out of reach and we'll have to start thinking about the club world cup in the summer. Are we gonna bring in a new manager right before it and treat it like a big pre-season tournament? Or, if the board value the competition (which I imagine they will), does it make sense to get someone in much sooner with a view to getting the squad playing how they want just in time for the summer tournament?

The fact he’s still in charge this morning shows how far the club has fallen.

Roman wouldn’t have even let him back on the coach yesterday.

The worst thing the Conservatives have ever done is meddling in football and forcing the greatest owner in the history of the English game to sell based on nothing but his ethnicity.

So I thought he had just lost the dressing room over the Xmas period. But I now think that is wrong.

Not only has he lost the dressing room, he has also demonstrated an extraordinary ineptitude with regard tactics and man management.

He must be after a job on the board.

I don't get this political angle at all. You can spin politics anyway you want. The fact is Abramovich put the club up for sale before the government stepped in so he was selling anyway.

Todd is probably leaving messages for Zidane as we speak.

Dont think it really matters to the players or manager, see this season's abysmal cup efforts, so who cares about some also-run competition we're only in because we won the biggest competition three years ago. We're a different club now I dont recognise or get excited about

the worse thing the Conservatives and Labour did was to allow the Russians in in the first place. Talk about stopping the boats, should have turned away the billions of stolen russian assets before they arrived.

We had 5 teenagers on the bench against Villa, none of whom he will use ... so yes selling/loaning our squad depth while simultaneously failing to address any of the obvious imbalances in the squad, and instead wasting time on failing to sell various other players due to unrealistic asking prices and also signing a 19 year old and a 16 year old continues the BlueCo pattern of hopeless transfer windows.

If we want to complain about transfer, we can complain about our last summer. Did the signing that we got move the needle? (I already said no a while ago)

But not sure we can complain about Jan. I am not suprise that Disasi, Veiga, Felix left, Maresca barely played them. Jan transfer is always difficult unless you are city.

He wasn't "selling anyway" at all. He basically just got in with his announcement before they did.

We had a squad and he completely broke the fringe players spirits, basically telling them, that they have no place in this squad. That approach is only good if you have the first team running through brick walls but it doesn't seem so right now.

They aren’t going to. If they had any intentions to they would have sought a replacement in Jan to rescue something from the season. Fully expect another press release in the next few days.

The football we are playing currently is as bad as anything I can remember in all my years following CFC. And that's such a shame when you consider we have one of the most watchable players in football right now in Cole Palmer.

It really has got that bad, we're now at the stage I would consider going shopping with the Mrs, rather than watch us bore everyone to tears.

It's not all what it's cracked up to be Nibs. She spends f**king hours smelling different soaps then ends up buying 99p body wash

Im pretty gutted the way the season has gone. Its big Phil Scolari all over again. one trick pony...

Maresca falls into the nice guy club too big bracket and goes the way of AVB, Big Phil, Lampard, Potter and probably a number of other names we've had in the past.

I've written off the season too.

When is the opening league fixture in August, sure we'll be without Maresca and Palmer as he'll have to be sold to pay for shareholders to wipe their asses on gold leaf sh*t rag.

He was looking to sell the club for a long time before actually. That was the rumour in the City.

The point is moot now anyways.

Capitalism. Vulture capitalism will eat the soul of our beloved club and the entire league.

A rumour, which was sparked by Ratcliffe trying to buy the club, and died down once Abramovich rejected his offer.

I can't put into words how disappointing this season has been.

We're going backwards when that shouldn't be the case, we buy players that we apparently don't need then send them out on loan because our Championship manager doesn't know how to utilise them. What a mess of a situation...It's all gone downhill since the Everton away game which was 2 months ago now and we've won 2 f**king games since then.

Unacceptable, he should be gone.

Maresca is not the best manager to be in charge of such a young inexperienced squad/team.

I don't think inexperience is the problem. We were flying when Maresca could play just players that he trust/like.

The squad is just loosely assembled. For example, we had 4 am when Maresca system play with 1 am. As long as we continue this scatter gun approach, we need manager who focus on using his squad rather than specific tactic
