How much money have we spent on left wingers since the new owners came in? Must be close to 300m. None of them have been good.

It’s an absolute abomination really, heads have to roll after Gittens & especially Garnacho, who nobody wanted, not even Maresca himself (although we already knew the coach wasn’t bothered after the post-signing presser).

How anybody can defend what’s going on at our club right now is beyond me.

They must be programmed to question nothing, accept it this is the way it’s done now.

f**k that, the manager has to go and some investments need to be made in first team players not f**king overpriced kids so we can sell to the opposition when they’re ready.

The FOS situation, the appalling football for coming up a year now. Results or no results the football is the worst, tedious, soul destroying crap I can’t even sit through half the time.

If palmer was struggling why didn’t he come off after the red? Normally you can see why decisions are made this guy ain’t got a f**king clue. Like for like subs are his best ones, players played out of position everywhere.

He had to be making a point putting on George, no other explanation £100m of new attacking players on the bench and you keep sending for the academy kid their trying to squeeze out the door for pure profit. Thats saying something surely. We can only hope there’s a rift.

Or worse, he’s such a puppet he’s told to put George in the shop window for January. Nothing would surprise me.

Garnacho is garbage, like the little useless fat guy in your avatar. That’s why.

Ah yeah George is much better, did he touch the ball when he came on?

Something’s not right. Maresca is making stubborn selections, and not playing some of the Board's signings. Very weird to see him not play Gittens and Garnacho at half time today.

Did he not notice that United were down to ten men and we were two down? Why persist with the changes he’d made when the score was still 0-0 and he was planning to hang on for 90 mins?

What kind of dumbass strategy is that anyway to take off both Estevao and Neto? What signal did it send to the team?

His whole approach was bizarre. He panicked after Sanchez was sent off, went to five at the back, gave all the initiative to United, then compounded the error in the second half by not adapting to the changed match situation.

I’ve never seen anything like it. What was he thinking?

Who is this board signing?

Gittens? He tried gittens, he is not good.

Hato, look at gittens.

Guiu. Look at gittens.

The only question are santos and Garnacho.

The relative success towards end of last season papered over some cracks but Maresca isn't good enough. We should go for Iraola or even Glasner while they are potentially available. That being said there are way more issues than just the manager. How do the SD's look at the squad this summer and sign 2 more wingers that we didn't need, while overlooking the obvious lack of a solid first choice keeper, an experienced center back, and another quality central midfielder given that Lavia is a sick note?

Iraola want to play all out high press ball. Will the board support his idea?

It's weird, no sarcasm here whatsoever but it's like people on here know more than the board and our scouting team.

90% of the fans could've told you Gittens and Garnacho are f**king rubbish yet the people who are employed megabucks to make these big decisions seem to think they are.. I have more confidence in people who sit around playing football manager all day than I do in the absolute clowns who are in charge of these signings.

Jorgensen for Estevao made sense. Everything else I agree. Mind bending.

Makes sense apart from the fact he is a sh*t keeper.

Anyway as I have said from the start i dont rate maresca, he is not good enough for the level we all want Chelsea to be at, but what yes man is?

Cut of one head and another stupid one takes its place.

From Potter to Poch to Pillock. Who's next? Maybe Ruben Selles, maybe he kisses a$$ well and his stellar 5 games at Sheff united probably impressed Mr. 4-4-3 Vivid seats and other two clowns.

The fact that they've spent upwards of £2B and the team is still sh*te is all you need to know that the board and scouting team (and maybe the managers, if they have any say in the buys) are clueless. This summer, most of us were complaining about Liverpool's spending, but we've far outspent them over the last few seasons (granted, we've also made a lot of sales)

To be fair, a lot of us fans are also clueless, because before the season began, most of us were optimistic, and many people were saying stuff like "the plan is finally working" when in reality the team still has so many glaring weaknesses in the GK, defense and even attack. The midfield is the only area where we are strong, but even there, there are serious question marks

Yup, some on here, some of social media, some in the stands gas lighting us all.

Title contenders. Laughable.

Thats what we should be playing! High intensity, high press, moving the ball with speed. Marescabore ball is dross, risk averse rubbish.

I dont know anything about gittens, but I disagree that Garnacho is rubbish. I actually said a while ago, before we were linked to him, that I liked him and he thought he was a decent little player. Seems like an utter twat, but he has some confidence and a bit of arrogance that I think top tier attackers need.

...and if nothing else, he seems a far better developed footballer than either george or gittens (or mudryk).

The scary thing is, that I could make a genuine argument, that our best LW at the moment is Sterling. :D

Defo seems to be trying to make a point by bringing on George and not playing our new signings. Seems this is his obvious way of saying, you forced me into this, so this is what I am doing in return. He made it clear that it was board decision to part with Jackson. Why would he bring on George again when he looks so uncomfortable up top and he was meant to go Fulham. Just bizarre.

I don't believe he is making a point about anything, he simply doesn't know what is he doing. He is also a massive bullsh*tter with some of the absurd comments he makes in his post-match pressers. He says one thing and does another. And what was he thinking with the George substitution? Tells Garnacho to get stripped off, spends 5 minutes giving his instructions then changes his mind and sends on George. He hasn't improved one single player in his time here IMO.

Maresca Impressed by Overlooked Chelsea Striker Marc Guiu...

Enzo Maresca is reportedly pleased with Marc Guiu’s intensity and hunger in training, positioning him as vital cover amid Delap’s injury.

After sobering up and having a good night's sleep, I still want Maresca gone. I've never seen such a headloss in a response to going a man down so early. To make it even worse, United even evened up the teams and Maresca still had no clue what to do. The guy is in a false position, we will never win a premier league or champions league with him in charge, he has one impressive managerial performance in his whole career and that was against PSG. He has to go as early as possible, but I'm afraid it's going to be at the end of the season at the earliest.

I'm still upset with Maresca.

In all my years of watching or playing football including years and years of taking my kids to matches I've never seen 2 attackers getting taken off because of 1 red card.

And to compound it leaving the one struggling with an injury on the pitch, who then also had to come off - he effectively neutralised 3 of our attackers in one move.

Real amatuer negative cowardly stuff.

But but but ……data dat data data data ……..we are smarter that everyone else blah blah blah….

They are absolute clowns.

We can forget about any trophy this season.

This club is an absolute clown show and I have zero faith in anyone who’s going to make the decisions on a new manager. They have f**ked it so many times I know they will f**k it up again.

Spot on - guy's a w**ker.

2nd question has to be which f**king idiot decided Maresca was the right guy for the job?

The only reason he got away with it last year was because Palmer did the business when it mattered.

And why the f**k is he playing our injured golden goose when he's got three(?) other decent options... he's just an arsehole.
