Everton haven't beaten us at Stamford Bridge since 1994, so a loss would be seismic.

Yes, but I wouldn’t put it past him to let them walk away with the three points. The problem is that I see many match going fans very lethargic, for much less we were singing “f**k off Mauricio!” away at Brentford.

That is really stupid. He must be thick as mince. I was talking in another thread about the Madrid players making all they could to get Alonso sacked, but I’ve never seen a manager sabotaging himself like that. Maybe Florentino is watching and he takes the bald fraud away from us and send us Alonso in return.

Not surprised by the lack of media scrutiny btw. Especially when the likes of Carragher have come out saying the manager is doing an “amazing job”, even going as far as saying he’s the best thing about us, and then that trickles down to other pundits, with their sympathy. Traitors like Joe Cole twerking for the owners for $$$ and ambassador roles, not criticising us when it’s due, another factor.

Come Saturday it can get bad at the Bridge. The bald fraud better get a team up for Everton or the atmosphere can turn on him.

Am glad you posted this as I was about to say...

Match going Chelsea fans... if you want this to end you know what you have to do, win lose or draw!

Joe Cole really annoyed me after the game, the way he refuses to call out management and brings out the old 'we need experience' trope is tiring. We shouldn't need 2/3 28 year olds bringing in to beat Atalanta, Leeds or Bournemouth. For the gaps there are in the squad it's more than good enough to have gotten 9, or even 7, points from those 3 games. Maresca is 100% responsible for tonight's loss.

Things have changed a lot since Pochettino, unfortunately. And, this is my opinion, fans are getting complacent with the way the Club is run. Maybe it’s because there are more “one day fans” in the stadium, and they won’t complain because they got to see Chelsea. Or maybe it is because we got used to this sh*t, which is what I think is happening. I would be singing against Maresca on Saturday. But I’m not sure if the crowd around me would be willing to do the same or will question me as anti Chelsea.

Fair points mate.

Sadly, if you are right and I think you are, we are finished as a top club.

How is he not under more pressure. Slot and Amorim both have been under pressure and we are pretty much on the same points.

Because generally the expectation for this team is top 5 and we are currently 5th.

Nobody believe we are a real title contender.

f**king clueless - worse than f**king clueless - if he just picked the best players for each position we'd be stable and learning and playing better - a 5 year old could do it.

This twat - wants to manage - to be the star - before we sack him we should sack the prats who hired him.

Ahha so he is the Anthony Taylor of managers!

Gets worse;

Maresca: “I changed Enzo and Chalobah because they are playing every minute in every game”

WTF is he doing at this point?

Was unable to watch the game today, but somehow feel like I've already seen this game several times over (at least).

The level of rotation, players out of position, slow style of football, and lack of real effort or energy - our eyes are not deceiving us, and he is coaching the football out of the players. While an ignorant comment to make, I truly believe the players would do better if they picked their own team and went about playing football. Never has a group made it look so awkward and unnatural.

He doesn't know his best side and has one tactical setup. We are regressing - I'd like to see a change ahead of a new season so a new manager gets a full preseason.

Lose the next two and we could easily be 10th, which is a more accurate representation of where we are.

Not only is this more bullsh*t excuses from this clown its actually factually incorrect as this doesn't occur for us or any other club.

Why doesn't anybody question this feeble minded fraud and ask him how he makes Saturday, Tuesday, Saturday, Wednesday, Saturday a game every 48 hours. Fking muppet.

It’s unfair that only Chelsea have to play every two days whilst every other team in the world get a week off between games.

Luckily I'm away at the weekend so I won't be able to watch our game, I'm glad for the break, barring a few games I've watched us play this season I've felt either depressed or underwhelmed after.

Think we are all at that stage. It was always a case of massive arguments with the Mrs, when I put Chelsea first. But now, I'm happy to do other stuff if it means not having to suffer more Maresca-Ball sh*te.

When we have such talents as Cole Palmer and Estevao it's a really sad state of affairs.

Having this moronic plan to sub them at half time no matter what is dumber than not starting them, its beggars belief that he thought that was a good idea.

But to then make the changes he made just made it worse. Bring Santos on (midfielder for midfielder), move Josh to CB and James to RB, Estevao at 10. All fixed, everyone in the position they belong in, everyone comfortable playing where they need to be.

But no, lets put a f**king RB at 10, bring on another CB hes "managing minutes" for who now has to get up to speed in the game right after half time, away, to a team thats about to be fired up by their managers team talk. the whole thing smacks of a try hard c**t thinking hes a tactical genius showing the world how amazing he is.

If this happen then there will be more scrutiny on Maresca. But as long as we are in top 5, there won't be any either from media nor from our board.

This is the reality of our club. We can criticize Maresca all we want but as long as he stay in top 5 and do something in CL (fa n league cup are irrelevant as there is no money there), he will stay here.

I thought I couldn’t get anymore annoyed after last night but this quote has done it.

If he’s saying we lost control then surely it’s his job as a manager to get some sort of control back again.

He speaks like there’s nothing he could have done about it, he was there, pitch side!

He’s undoubtedly the worst at in-game management that I can remember at this club.

His subs at best make no sense but often makes us worse.

There can’t be any other “top club” in Europe who throw away 1-0 leads as much as us.

He’s incompetent!

Can anyone imagine Abramovic putting up with this complete clown? (I know he wouldn't have been appointed in the first place).

What is equally depressing as to how clueless he is, is knowing that he ain't going anywhere. It's a living nightmare.

Even if he doesn't get sacked today surely the board have to start having a word with him. Even if they are in it for financial gain every game that passes by their investments are being devalued and we're getting closer to losing out on big revenue streams for next season. We're the same points behind Arsenal in 1st than we are ahead of Fulham in 15th and we're now in a situation where it's likely we aren't going to automatically qualify for the next round of the champions league.

Wouldn’t have made it out of the Ipswich defeat last Christmas if Sir Roman was still here.

The CWC win has totally masked the fact this pretender cannot set a side up for a full season.
