Leicester (which they didn't look great against), a terrible West Ham, Brentford point, when leading by two goals, and winning at Ipswich. Literally all results that were expected. City have far tougher fixtures to come. Newcastle, Liverpool, Arsenal, Us. We'll see if they really are back, or whether these are just typical expectational results for City. The jury is still out for me, I think they can be got at and we have a great chance of taking points from them. People are mad to think we can't seriously hurt them going forward.

This just smacks of the arrogance and or delusion among some of our support. At least City have won those expected wins. Have you seen our last five results/performances against teams that many expected us to win? It’s like no matter how bad our results and performances are, we’re actually better then everyone else and some far fetched excuse can be made for it.

Fully agree, city spanking a team we couldn’t beat. Some of our fan based really need to come to reality.

I would have agreed before our recent awful run of results. We know if we can recover our earlier form that we can cause them problems . Let's hope it starts tomorrow night. BUT I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't start tomorrow night!

Come on you BLUES !

If United get CL football by winning the Europa League it would be the biggest injustice in the history of this sport.

Do we go into the Europa league proper if we win the Conference?

The season XX of the comedy Spurs new season continues 😅 Conceded 3 before HT against a team who barely able to score 1 per week. Angie is not a bad manager, but to be in his second season without a plan B, just go toe to toe with teams every game is just suicidal. Scottish league is the minor league compares to PL, it's been proven years before he arrived

I disagree, he's a horrible manager - truly dreadful.

His team look uncoached and he's flogged them to death with his style of play.

His attitude in pressers stinks as well, but it will still be a shame to see the back of him because he might relegate that mob at this rate.

Ange is going to get sacked soon. Spurs are 15th after more than halfway through the season.

The Australian football media have been bandwagoning and hyping up Spurs and Ange for the past year, so it can't come soon enough down under where I am. Even now they're coming up with excuses for his shortcomings.

I did warn everyone I know in Australia that Ange going to Spurs would end in tears. If quality managers like Conte, Mourinho and Poch couldn't win silverware with them then he was no chance of doing so either.

Here's a secret though - Angeball will fail, and historically, it will result in a very bad time for Spurs when it does. Postecogolou is a great manager at developing a team capable of stringing many wins together, but when those streaks have snapped he has not been able to galvanise the team out of a slump.

Predictable.

It's happened at every single team he's coached in. He might yet go on to "ten Hag" a trophy this season but he seriously struggles at arresting the momentum of a slide.

The frustrating thing is that he could actually be a fantastic manager, but lacks the insight and humility to learn from his mistakes.

Turned out Ole was the best manager of that bunch, who would have thought 😅 I always thought the so called United legends in the media never helped, criticizing poor results  is one thing, but 'legends' calling out to play the united way, when they never had a chance to play the right way ( or what is the United way) and get results, just drag them down even more. Again, couldn't have happened to a better bunch, apart from Spurs of course. They are just a top 6-8 team, but the entitled ones still believe they are still the team 20 years ago.

Spurs have lost the same number of matches as Ipswich (12). Only Wolves, Leicester and Southampton have lost more matches this season.

Amazing how far they've fallen.

Has any manager ever called his players the worst set of players in a club’s history and survived in the role?

Amorim’s approach seems to be that he is doing a club a favour by being there. I don’t understand how you pay off Ten Haag, pay off Amorim’s previous employers and he is allowed to just allow the club to go into free fall all in the name of “principles”. That is close to £30m just to tank the season.

lol we don’t win tomorrow season is finished.

Fa Cup? Conference League?

Still a lot  to play for, although the thought of being pipped for top 5 by mighty Bournemouth is something new.

Seeing that city scoreline vs Ipswich annoyed me. It’s what we should have won by. We just allowed them to win the game.

In fairness with a decent striker were 2 or 3 up at half time in that game, and without the f**king ridiculous penalty.
