Had we had Sancho we beat Palace imo.

Sanchez needs to apologize the team and Cole Palmer. 2 absolutely horrible howlers for Bobby and Cole is Messi reincarnated. We win this game very comfortably without Sanchez. I feel we can't reward him anymore. Bring in Jorgensen.

The team showed character to come back at 0-1 down and turn the game around. Also kept our cool when it got to 3-2 and still won the game. Palmer, wow, just wow. I just knew that free kick was going in, such is the confidence and quality he has. Sancho looked good too. Sill mistakes which cost our goals so hopefully Maresca works on this training.

Good start to the season. Lost the one game at the beginning against the reigning holders which was expected, but have bounced back. Maybe should have got all 3 points against Palace, but otherwise very pleased. Maresca makes his subs at good parts of the game too.

Must give a special word to Baleba. He  was brilliant in that midfield. He has impressed me for a while but he was such a dominating presence for Brighton today and I am sure he will be destined for a bigger move later on. Most likely to us 😄 

After the first 15 minutes, it really did look like we were going to get a hammering, we were getting dominated by them. As soon as we noticed a weakness in their highline, we gained some much needed momentum.

Couldn't watch the game live but watched the game last night.   Comical, brilliant, calamity, cool, catastrophic, superb, underwhelming, complete circus, magical, clueless; just some of the words that I used to describe this team and their performance for 90+ minutes yesterday.

I think it is good that all the top 5 are not consistent yet. 

Still feel we are missing a big character in midfield or defence, a proper leader maybe an experienced journey man 

Totally agree Andy, while the forwards are living the dream it's whats behind them that frightens me.  Teams are still cutting through our midfield with ease and the defence is a shambles even with the supposed talent we have.  Fofana hasn't had the best of starts, Colwill seems solid enough, although I'm not convinced with the inverted full backs concept as we are now far too vulnerable on the flanks...and as a collective unit there is no calm in defence and Sanchez is not helping matters albeit he's pulled off some brilliant saves.   The second string defenders aren't much better either and whether James actually comes back into the team is debatable; I can see him being sold off next summer along with Fofana and several others.    

I'm still not convinced with the midfield, theres no one in there that is capable of taking the game by the scruff of the neck and dominate the midfield which we saw with the likes of Wise, Ballack, Essien, Makelele, Kante, Fabregas et al.  Whether or not Lavia returning will steady the ship in the middle is yet to be seen.   

While overall we are entertaining to watch, its worrying and comical at times; we can only hope that our defence get themselves sorted out and not keep riding the luck they have had in recent games.  

There was a better atmosphere at the bridge yesterday. It is starting to feel happier watching the team again. Palmer again ole ole.

Jorgensen has looked Sunday league in his couple of appearances. Maybe he gets better, hopefully he does.

I believe the plan is for Mike Penders to be our number one, the guy we spent 20mill on to get at what, 16 years of age from the same youth set up Tibo came from?

Spending that on a youth keeper is equivalent to the 60mill we spent on Estevao. Both I expect are starters soon.
