Lavia is good enough to keep Fernandez out, if it wasn’t for his price tag he wouldn’t start surely

Think Enzo has been pretty good so far. Better than the others. He looks a little fitter and half a step quicker since start of season.

A thing I love about Maresca's tactics is the implementation of vertical, line-splitting passes. This never happened under Pochettino, just endless side to side passing.

Madueke has been our most dangerous attacking player by miles. His shooting has been wild on the whole but as I recall he hasn't exactly had a plethora of options when in those positions other than the Andros Townsend special.

I think Sancho has been better, every time he gets the ball he finds the right pass. Keep giving him the ball I say.

I think we are playing well until the final third you’ve got the team with the most goals scored as of last week playing the team with the least goals conceded bar Liverpool, getting that first goal relatively early is going to be key

Not a great game so far.

Doing what they did to Liverpool, they need to survive in the league and like most bang average clubs they will sit deep when they don't have the ball..our manager needs to find a way to break them down...stop pissing around with the ball might help.

Not defending him and he has made some bad choices, but Jackson is standing there like a lampost and the others are either taking a Sunday afternoon jog into the box with a dfender or on the periphery.  I would have expected that once he beats his man there would be several players busting a gut to get in the middle but there isn't.

Problem is when a winger is more interested in shooting than crossing, players stop making the runs as enthusiastically if they aren’t expecting the ball, that’s not even something conscious it almost becomes subconscious vs a player you know will play you in every time

I'm afraid if we don't score before the half they're gonna start sniffing a draw and bring the bus.

I think that’s already happened

also happens when the players are braindead numpties

I’d hook Noni for Neto at half time. He’s far too wasteful with the possession he gets, continually making the wrong decision.
