Sconnie Blue Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 Is it too much to ask to have Madueke get a shot on target? Sexyfootball 1
PhilH930 Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 Gustos been pretty average today also. Doesn’t look sharp with his passing.
Wearyourblue Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 Jackson giving the way with every touch, Madueke wasting every shot. Hope the ball stays on the left. Andy2461 1
WhiteWall Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 Is Gusto the worst player on the pitch atm. Not sure if he has completed a pass yet.

Better than the others. He looks a little fitter and half a step quicker since start of season. timetowaste 1

timetowaste Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 Noni, Palmer, Gusto and Jackson not on it this afternoon.
dR3 Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 A thing I love about Maresca's tactics is the implementation of vertical, line-splitting passes. This never happened under Pochettino, just endless side to side passing. Simplymo 1
PloKoon13 Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 Madueke has been our most dangerous attacking player by miles. His shooting has been wild on the whole but as I recall he hasn't exactly had a plethora of options when in those positions other than the Andros Townsend special. just 1

PloKoon13 Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 Great ball from Palmer. Madueke unlucky not to create a chance there, good defending.

I think Sancho has been better, every time he gets the ball he finds the right pass. Keep giving him the ball I say.
SFL82 Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 I think we are playing well until the final third you’ve got the team with the most goals scored as of last week playing the team with the least goals conceded bar Liverpool, getting that first goal relatively early is going to be key

Doing what they did to Liverpool, they need to survive in the league and like most bang average clubs they will sit deep when they don't have the ball..our manager needs to find a way to break them down...stop pissing around with the ball might help.
DarkMata Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 Need to speed up the passing a the gaps will appear
PloKoon13 Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 Calm down Enzo, you weren't pretty to begin with. Surprised Liam hasn't described him as 'murine' yet.
dR3 Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 I'm afraid if we don't score before the half they're gonna start sniffing a draw and bring the bus.
Scott Harris Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 We're just throwing possession away, it's really sh*t.

I would have expected that once he beats his man there would be several players busting a gut to get in the middle but there isn't. Problem is when a winger is more interested in shooting than crossing, players stop making the runs as enthusiastically if they aren’t expecting the ball, that’s not even something conscious it almost becomes subconscious vs a player you know will play you in every time

The Boehly Babes Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 I’d hook Noni for Neto at half time. He’s far too wasteful with the possession he gets, continually making the wrong decision. Kev56 and SFL82 2
