Ange “it’s who we are mate” Postacoggleehah has made history, first Spuds manager to lose his first four league games against the Chels.

Put performance aside we’ve done the bubble over the 🥔 s two seasons on the bounce.

I approve of every and any kind of foul on Son, personally. Nice one, Neto.

I'm still incensed that a few years back someone put together a "nicest footballers in the prem" team. And Son was in it. Bloody Son. SON! And N'Golo wasn't. I mean...who is a nicer footballer than N'Golo?

Big, big win. Nervy finish and heart was thumping. Sanchez made a really good save from Son but Lord, he had a saving grace with that goal being ruled out because you just cannot let those goals in. He did make up for it later on like I said. To the actual game, we were a lot better and dominated most of the game. MOTM is tough one. Chalobah was brilliant. Enzo good. But for me MOTM was Caicedo. He was top class. Won so many tackles and dictated the tempo of the game. He was superb and a shame his superb strike was harshly ruled out.

Not going to complain after beating Spurs, It's a forgettable game for most part, the football was so poor that in the last few minutes the Spurs couldnt even launch the ball into the box 😄 I think Angie is done after this game, so Spurs will reboot to version 1.x again. We looked ok, the cancelled goals even each side up. Sanchz had 2 saves to make all game, messed up 1 big time and luckily it wasn't punished. We will probably get ripped apart by Liverpool by current performance, but that's another problem for another day.

I agree with a lot Ange says about VAR but after his post match interview tonight I think he’s probably done the moment they go out of the Europa League.

Jackson made a big difference tonight simply by being able to play the position. He wasn’t great but makes us a more dangerous team. It’s weird.

Trev was outstanding. One of his best games he’s played for the club. He was the leader at the back and had some JT style diagonals.

Caicedo showed that he’s up there with the best defensive mids anywhere. Rodri is the only one who comes close imo.

Enzo has quietened a few tonight. He was very good and shown he can play box to box. Great movement for a fine goal.

I’m still confused as to what Maresca wants from the wingers. Sancho and Neto were probably confused too.

Palmer desperately needs a goal. First half he didn’t want to shoot but improved a bit after half time.

It was Spurs!!!!!

Never in doubt

It's sad that some think Jackson at centre-forward is in improvement. Shows how far we have gone backwards really.

Just beat this lot! Please!!!!!!!!!!

Pre match nerves have already kicked in…😀

Thank You Chelsea!

I was walking about on edge all day yesterday !😀

Today…ah so different, well we beat them last night!!!!😀😀😀

I’m a like a big kid the day after we beat them!😀

Was happy with the win and the 3 points and we were definitely a lot better, but lets face it, Spurs were sh*t and you have to be beating teams like that.

All went a bit flat after the VAR Caicedo decision. We all know VAR is Totally ruining the game and that was as good an example as any as to why. Ridiculous.

So predictable that we sat back late in the game and nearly blew it. Why so many defenders on the pitch FFS?

Caicedo and Chalobah were both immense.

Poor old Ange looks like the proverbial dead man walking.

Spot on.

I think they could make VAR better by sticking with the ref's decision if they cannot make their minds up after 2 minutes - mind you isn't it only meant to be used for clear and obvious errors ???

In grand scheme of things the Prem really doesn't offer these opportunities anymore. For a club in a situation like we are. We are a side that most sides prepare well against and want to win. We have zero to none experience of beating teams ugly or beating teams in different ways. Young players ride on confidence as there is no experience to backup.

Let's be happy we perform to win. Learning to win is essential. A much much tougher opponent awaits in Brentford.

Sanchez usual howler per game was saved by (the correct call) VAR

Gusto’s regression this season needs studying, if Maresca stays he’s got to be sold (Ideal TAA replacement)

Colwill is soft

Chalobah despite his limitations is showing he’s proper Chels

Cucurella can’t defend and just gets in the way up top, but he’s a proper sh*thouse so…

Caiceido is Player of the Season, it’s not even Close

The Enzo slander can stop now, since Christmas he’s been one of our Top 3 players

Palmer looks to be getting back to his best.

All of our best attacking came via Sancho in the 1st half and was unlucky not to be on the scoresheet.

Neto might actually be a bust, awful again out wide.

Jackson. Jackson, Jackson, Jackson. He’s a woeful footballer, absolutely 0 ability, composure or intelligence. God knows what we scouted BUT we’re a better team when he starts somehow (Think it’s more an indictment of how terrible Nkunku truly is) Maybe the fact he doesn’t know what he’s doing means Defenders don’t know what he’s going to do making him unmarkable. I can’t work it out.

I’d say overall that win says a lot more about Spurs than us.

Also all this uproar about Offside/VAR seems really easy to resolve.

Offside is daylight between the attacker/defender. Let’s stop with these stupid lines.

VAR is timed, let’s say 1 minute, if no decision is made in that time the onfield counts.

Would’ve saved so much time last night, the Spurs ‘goal’ everyone saw it after the first replay as a foul. Why it took 6 minutes is just bizarre. Our offside goal, no one could see that so taking 4 minutes there was wild, goal stands.

I thought that we played well last night for most of the game. We came on to the game playing quick football and almost got a goal within the first 5 minutes. Then the intensity fell a bit. In the second half we came out again full of energy and playing fast, but we ended up defending against a very poor Spurs team and with more defenders on the pitch than anything. At some points it looked a bit like the chaos-ball of the end of last season and beginning of this one, and we did not control very well the tempo or the game, which must have driven Maresca nuts. Sanchez even booted forward the ball several times, so I'm not sure who is Maresca going to play on Sunday. Anyway, a game full of what you expect against Spurs, controversy, fouls, fast at times, brawls, and goals (even if they were cancelled by VAR) etc I had fun and the Bridge was rocking since the start. I love the games against this lot.

People can criticise him, but we looked far better having Jackson up top. More down to his mobility and stretching the opposition, rather than his inability to control a ball, or score 😆.

That doesn't mean that we shouldn't go for a striker in the summer, we need a proper goalscorer i.e. Isak, Gyokeres, Osimhen. I do believe we'll end up with Delap though going by our current buying strategy.

Can someone explain why Caicedo's goal was ruled off? I have seen the red VAR line but...

They decided, somehow, that Colwill was a millimetre offside amongst a horde of indistinguishable bodies with the freeze frame locked in with the ball seemingly already in the air.

Simple.

But did the ball hit Colwill first who was offside however little? In that case it is pretty simple and it was a good call.

If it didn't hit Colwill but it was seen he was obstructing the keeper by being ahead, that is case by case and in this case it would be particularly harsh to take the goal away.
