Good to see we have additional firepower back for this game. Sancho, Nkunku and Guiu all part of the squad. This game last season was a terrific game. We won 2-3. Hopefully we can get another one tomorrow, albeit the outfit we playing this season are much better than we played last season.

Not feeling very confident about this one. I really hope Enzo preps them properly. We know how they are going to play - park the bus, frustrate and hit us on the break.

Goals just feel abit too hard to come by.

There is also the possibility that Forest find the pressure too much and end up playing like sh*t.

It could go either way really but it’s abit daft to expect Forest to play at their absolute peak form.

I’m predicting a pretty dull game with one goal. Whoever scores first will win the game imo.

Cannot remember the last game of the season ever being so important... heart says yes but head says no... they love playing against teams set up like ours...

Maybe Maresca will surprise us with a plan B 😁

Not surprised, Sky and pretty much everyone only see a fairy tale champions league qualification story for Forest. Wouldn’t want Neville spoiling it.

Skimmed it and didn’t realise it’s Forest that have banned him, absolutely bonkers as surely this just opens the floodgates for clubs to start banning pundits, surely they have to get a fine for this?… surely.

Rules are vague, don't forget that Ferguson banned the BBC for years and got away with it (media have to complain for it to be punished and they were too scared to kick the hornets nest). Forest will argue that only one pundit was banned, not Sky themselves. Sky to their credit have pulled all their pitchside pundits from the match in solidarity.

Personally doing this sort of thing, especially with how mild Sky's criticism has been, is the sign of a club having a bit of a meltdown, not great for a side that's playstyle is built on discipline and keeping cool under pressure.

LOOKS LIKE ALL THE SO CALLED EXPERTS EXPECT US TO LOSE

Chelsea are taking on Nottingham Forest at the City Ground in what is effectively a playoff for Champions League football.

Having seen the type of players we're being linked with and those that the club are backing away from, thus game is becoming more and more insignificant to me with each passing press briefing.

Anyone else remember when Forest did us 7-0 up at their place in 1991? Happy days.

Blimey! Hit me with a fish. I'm turning into @axman2526

Not only remember it I was there, one of the thousands of Chels singing "Always look on the bright side of life". Despite the result our fans made it a great day out.

This time tomorrow we should be in to the second half, likely trying to break down a Forest team sitting back defending a likely lead, while Palmer cuts a frustrated figure and our other attackers just bounce off their CBS as we pump aimless cross after aimless corner for them to clear and counter.

He deserved it in all honesty. He put out a wild claim without having any context. He basically accused the Forest owner of going down to the pitch to moan to Santo about the performance, but it had nothing to do with that and was all about Awoniyi's injury. If Neville corrected himself or apologised, then there probably wouldn't be an issue. Neville's ego is too big.

Maybe for the best anyway, makes them look like they’re spiralling and having a moment for the build up to this, hopefully a good distraction for our slim chances at it. Hopefully Sky can influence the ref for revenge, that would be nice. 😅

I don't but do remember being at The Bridge when they beat us 6-2 or 6-3 and Franz Carr gave our rookie fullback nightmares that he never recovered from.
