May 27May 27 Did anyone see the goal of the season nominees? Not one of our players is on there. Definitely some agenda. They included Mitoma's goal against Spurs, which was a good goal but not goal of season contender. How Caicedo's strike against Liverpool or Joao Pedro's goal against Forest was not nominated is a joke. Just look at the nominations and you will question how a lot of these were any better than Caicedo or Pedro's goals which were special.

May 27May 27 How is Adam Wharton not in the England squad? Absolute Rolls Royce of a player, if we had a CM with that quality at Chels next season we’d be dangerous.
May 27May 27 Author The crazy thing is that even after winning 2 trophies in 2 seasons, I think Palace will be one of the favourites to go down next season, unless the Europa League qualification allows them to bring in more players than they lose. Even with Mateta and Wharton, they are struggling, so if they lose those two, they are in big trouble.

May 27May 27 I f**king hate arsenal but it would be funny to see the rest of the European leagues lose their sh*t at the PL dominating all European competitions. I have no doubt they will be moaning to UEFA about PL money is making it unfair.

The romanticism of European football is dead for me. Everyone knew before a ball was kicked that our actual youth team would win it last year and that Palace and Villa or Forest would win their competitions this year whilst fielding weakened teams all the way to the finals. That’s just how I feel about it, but I’m old and can remember the days when European football was still quite exotic and interesting. Before Man City played Real Madrid more often than they have training sessions.

That's a statement no one dreamed of making watching AC Milan and Juventus draw 0-0 in a CL final 23 years ago.The giants of Spain and Italy had their chance to do what the PL did, and they used to sneer and squawk at the idea of revenue sharing. Ironically, their only salvation lies in the formation of a Super League with appropriate revenue sharing.

It is a tactic taken directly from NBA (screen setting) that we now know they extensively "consulted" with Howard Webb and PGMOL over.Until IFAB or a league change the rules so that referees can intervene prior to the ball being in play, this tactic will always work.

Good football must triumph over the masters of set-pieces.I am hoping for a repeat of last years final when PSG totally battered Inter. I want to see Gooner supporters brought back down to earth with a mighty BUMP.Come on PSG - we are all rooting for you......................!!

The PL to its time and build a brand globally that is enjoyed by many because of the fast paced action packed matches. That’s how under threat because because of the Arsenal type of football we are seeing and the PL will protect its product if they see audience falling off because of Arsenal sh*te football.Just like they made sure city didn’t win this season they will make sure Arsenal get stopped if global fans start to get bored.
May 28May 28 Arsenal will win. PSG score a lot, but their defence lets in a lot. Arsenal one of the best defences in Europe, so that will win out.

May 28May 28 Couldn't think of anywhere else to post this. Fixtures changes galore. BBC SportHow nine teams in Europe affects Premier LeagueFor the second season in a row, the Premier League will have nine teams in Europe - and that will have knock-on effects domestically.
May 28May 28 This of course is the first time I have ever thought about it, but I am all of a sudden a big fan of us being the 12:30 fixture on Saturdays.
May 29May 29 With more english teams in europe, should be good for coefficient ranking but monday/friday fixture sucks though for fans...

Unless it's Chelsea winning European trophies, I usually can't stand other English teams winning them. .Come on you PSG !
