It’s ridiculously slow you can see if we up the pace we can open them up but it’s still this f**king dull boring nonsense

I love Delap, reminds me of a good old fashioned centre forward. Holds the ball up and brings others into play, willing to run in behind, can drop deep - very impressive striker, hope he bags a boatload this year!

I can't believe we are 3-1 up and have had a bloody awful half of turgid football. They are still in this game atm. We should have been 6-1 at the half. Their defence is so fragile and yet we are just killing the tempo constantly.

What worries me is that the only games under Maresca that I have enjoyed is when the team have not played Maresca-ball

Hard to believe Potter and Maresca were in the same squad. I was just thinking how much older Potter looks tonight. He seems to have aged 10 years since leaving Brighton.

They are making excuses for Sanchez with the ball moving, but it didn't move THAT much. I think it's a mistake more than anything, he misread the flight of the ball from the start.
