Quality defending by Chalobah again, maybe I'm being unfair, 6ft 7 Woltemade is an easy player to not see.

Chalobah is an average footballer. His shortcomings are covered up by Colwill or Fofana - but when one of them is struggling, Chalobah looks mediocre at best.

If he had prime Messi to manage I’m convinced he’d try and play him at wing back or some woke nonsense. Always thinking he’s smarter than he is. Pray for nothing but misery in that man’s life, a terrible manager and human being.

The squad is much better than the way we play under him, that's the point.

Starting to think this isnt the case. Its nearly a full stregnth side today. Not even shown any effort.

"When you're through on goal, look for Malo Gusto"

Covered up by Fofana? Is that a joke? Blokes one of the biggest liabilities we have when he’s charging about like a headless chicken.

I don't believe they would The obvious ones like Palmer' Caciedo and James yes. I don't think they would be remotely interested in our back four today or the likes of Pedro, Garnacho, Enzo, Sanchez Gittens' Delap, Guiu etc

Just reverse the managers and I guarantee that the result would be different. Newcastle obviously have some better players than ours, I'm not that deluded to believe all of our players are better than theirs, but we have seen that these players can match anybody when the intensity is right and when the positional discipline is right.

That’s appalling. Absolutely appalling. Every single member of the coaching staff, and players, should be utterly embarrassed at their lack of professionalism.

We’ve had some shocking games and this is right up there with Brentford first half, Leeds, Man United and Brighton

It’s how they’re utilised. No sane manager has Gusto in the half space and Reece James at CM. Two quick wingers but refuse to get the ball in behind quickly.

Just watched the replay of the first goal, Forfana holding onto the ball too long then dawdling back, Gusto managed to kick Gordon instead of the ball and then Chalobah completely missed the ball allowing the long streak of piss to score

We've had countless displays where we blame team selection, injuries etc. It doesn't matter who is fit or who is injured. We still lose today.

This is a reckoning. The manager is not good enough.

Everyone wanted Enzo out the team and we have looked awful without him. He needs to come on at H/T and put James into his natural role. Palmer has been awful and a bloody liability too. He has lost almost every dual and defensively is a weak point as he cannot stand Newcastle's press. Absolute horror performance and really could be a lot worse, the scoreline.

Which proves my point, the squad is better than the way we play under this muppet. How many games do we match the opposition for energy and desire, especially at kick off. He sucks the energy out of them, then has us playing the most depressing football, I'm amazed they manage to stay awake.

Full strength yet players are out of position.

James to go RB, put Palmer RW and bring on Santos on for Gusto and Enzo for Neto.

My dislike for Maresca grows even more, the bloke has no idea of a consistent team.

I was at the bridge last week for the game and felt like the club has been Americanised so much. The owners have killed this club and ripped out its soul. I might be done soon for my own wellbeing. Why am I wasting my Saturday to watch this bald moron half arse a sh*t performance lead by the moronic sporting directors hired by the oblivious owners. Rotten from top to bottom.

Can't believe Maresca still never seem to learn anything. Anoyone with half a brain could work out how Newcastle was going to approach this game.

Clearly it doesn't help us either when the referee is bent or is he just not allowed to book their players? f**k off.
