Liam Rosenior - Chelsea Head Coach *Now Sacked*

Featured Replies

Fraud .. baffling decisions , can’t organise a defence.. makes stupid decisions trying to be too clever.. another hipster coach we never learn.. we needed a proper coach who has played at the highest level and whim players will respect.. yet what we get are these random fcks .

I believe that since the end of January we've won 5 games. 3 against EFL teams, 1 against bottom of the league and that random Aston Villa game. This is absolutely grounds for him to be sacked tonight, it's not even just the fact that we're losing, it's the manner of them, we looked truly pathetic in that second half.

It’s pointless sacking him now. I don’t care if we get CL football or not, we have far bigger problems to sort out.

Only argument is to salvage the FA Cup, but I honestly don’t care anymore. Because if we somehow fluke to win it, it will yet again justify them to keep doing what they’re doing.

It's a nice diversion for the owners when fans bay for the manager to go.

Just look what's happened to our Elite club since the day they bought us . That's all you need to know about who is to blame for the state we are now in .

I agree. While it is pretty clear Rosenior is out of his depth, he is just one symptom of the overall malaise affecting the club. Ultimately, he was selected by Clearlake and the SD's and forced out of the Strabourgh job when he wasn't ready. Unless the selection team changes things the same problem will recur. we need Egbahli and the Clearlake mob to take a back seat on all football-related decisions, we need a competent SD and a real manager. That would at least be a start.

I don’t think it’s pointless at all. I’d argue it’s pointless keeping him on as everything points to him being a dead man walking.

We have good players. What we need are better Sporting Directors or ONE good Sporting Director and ONE good manager. It kind of surprises me that the investment firm that run our 'product' or the investment or whatever it is . . .it surprises me that the capitalist kunts that run the Chelsea business do not realise that you NEED to have a competent Sporting Director and a top quality coach at the helm. Are they really so fcucking clueless? I mean Chelsea FC is a top of the line Football Sporting business and they - the board? - have literally put a bunch of no-nothing ass clowns in charge. This is not good for OUR football club, but it is also not good for their "sporting business".

I mean there’s absolutely 0 reason why he’d still be in charge next season, the biggest worry though is the replacement, it’s all been a downward trajectory.

There is 0 reason he would still be in charge tomorrow, other than he is doing what his blueco masters want.

Because Gary O’Neill is still in Europe until midweek so can’t take over til they’re officially out?

...anyway.

While he has spectacularly f**ked up every single man management situation he's faced, and while his public speaking inclines more towards coprophagic corporate aphorism than anything of substance (let alone true), he is hardly the problem.

Today Rosenior started the best XI available to him; every option on the bench would have made the team measurably worse. One assumes that he would have started Fernández given the opportunity, but that decision was taken out of his hands. And let's not forget that Rodri said worse and Pep was able to shrug it off; it was the impotent, maggot-dicked parvenus above Rosenior who couldn't tolerate the slightest dissent.

The players he had available were worse than the players the other team had. That is the responsibility of the owners and the incompetent/corrupt apparatchiks they chose to put in charge of the footballing side of the club. That isn't to say that I think Rosenior is qualified or even competent, but sadly that is now our lot as Chelsea fans.
