World Cup 2026

According to the Kane interview, the "messaging" (assume that means from the manager and coaching staff) was to go for a second goal after we went 1-0 up.

I guess the players simply weren't able to execute, especially once Argentina stepped their game up, and then we got more and more nervous and retreated en masse to the edge of our own penalty area.

I just don’t believe this.

It’s classic Tuchel. We had 7 defensive players on the pitch against f**king Norwich. AT HOME.

To me they were pretty respectful. We sat next to four Argentinian guys. We shook their hands after and congratulated them. The row infront of us wanted to film our disappointment after - the four guys next to us sorted them out pretty quick.

Have many lasting impressions of this World Cup, for another day, but recognize a humble gesture when there.

I’m glad we torpedoed their ships.

I’m glad we defended our British territories.

The only regret I have is we didn’t carry on and bomb the whole backwater country into oblivion to prevent HGH cheats like Messi and men who leave their kids without a father to go and enjoy the city then come crawling back like the horrible rats they are when they realise the grass isn’t always greener and all their sh*t tattoos get them 0 pussy like Enzo f**king Fernandez.

c**ts the lot of them.

And their claim to the islands always seems flawed to me by virtue of the fact Argentina no more belonged to the Spanish and is nowhere near Spain either.

And the Isle of Man was Norwegian. Until they sold it Scotland. And then England came and nicked it.

Aside from that Jude Bellingham is a superstar and we thankfully won’t have to put up with Harry Kane going missing and then f**king the whole formation up next tournament.

Kane will be there. No chance he is missing the Euro's on home soil.

That’s the trouble all over the globe isn’t it? People wanting to put things back to the state things were at the moment that suits them now.

I wouldn’t like to untangle it all, and I certainly don’t understand enough to even try.

But I detest conflict over it. And I equally detest people who weren’t there, or haven’t been somewhere very similar banging on about conflict. My grandad landed on Sword beach on D-day and fought his way through France before being wounded. Yet he never said much at all about it and definitely never sang about German bombers or anything else like that.

Mini rant over.

There is a view that Argentina did us a favour tonight. Saved us from an absolute drubbing by Spain on Sunday. Probably not really a match for them, more like keep-ball for fun with lots of Oles from the crowd.

Rice looks shot. Impossible he does not pick and injury after another next season if Arsenal do not manage his minutes. Don't think a good rest this summer will be enough, he needs to sit out a lot of matches next season or else his body will surely break.

Same as James, Saka, Saliba...

It’s a mentality issue for me. You can’t score and then have 12% possession to end of game.

We can understand the importance of defence, but sport is there to be won, not lost. That’s hard to take

like Dermott said they were the much better side. Our players were slower than theirs in all areas. After the first 10 minutes or so I thought there was gonna be a red card eventually for sure. Technically England as an International entity are still a class below the top sides in regards to technique imo.

Tell us how you really feel...

Side note with all this Falklands talk:

When my family used to run a gite in the Southwest we had a family stay that were really nice.

They even had us over for a barbecue and while chatting we found out the dad was the second in command on the Conqueror during the Falklands war.

He regretted the speed at which they sank the Belgrano, if I recall the conversation (we're talking fifteen plus years ago now) he was very morose about putting three torpedoes into her and giving most sailors no chance...

Agreed. Even Bellingham who everyone lauds has a trampoline first touch.

For that reason alone he wouldn't make the cut for Spain.

A lot of Arsenal's best players look done after this tournament. Saliba's injury looks bad too.

Maresca could bullsh*t his away to a league title, or maybe United will come out of their banter era and claim a surprise win (highly unlikely)
