September 1, 201510 yr Sky Sources understand that Stevenage's 28 year old midfielder Charlie Lee is expected to arrive at Chelsea for a medical within the hour. Don't! There's people on here stupid enough to believe/doubt you
September 1, 201510 yr Sky Sources understand that Stevenage's 28 year old midfielder Charlie Lee is expected to arrive at Chelsea for a medical within the hour. Charlie is our Lee der, Charlie is our Lee der......I'm going for a lie down with a bottle of brandy.
September 1, 201510 yr 100m euro transfer going down tomorrow in London. You heard it here first. That's for all your informed comments this past week.
September 7, 201510 yr So Zouma is off in Januray, he's set to lose his place to Djilobodji, according to various papers. Why they expect us to believe that we will leave ourselves short of another defender come Januray, especially a young talented one, I do not know. Edited September 7, 201510 yr by Floyd25

Why they expect us to believe that we will leave ourselves short of another defender come Januray, especially a young talented one, I do not know. They must think we are stupid. If Zouma was off in January, why would we include him in our Champions League squad and not Djilobodji ?
September 8, 201510 yr Zouma is not going anywhere, especially not Fiorentina, thats just rubbish. Its definitely hard to keep up with all the rumours that surround us becuase some are just ridiculous. Gotta take any link to a player with patience and caution. If I remember correctly, we were linked with Ronaldo a couple years back.
September 8, 201510 yr Zouma is our future, losing him would be a stupid move. He has a great deal of potential, I simply cannot see us losing him. He could a world class defender given a few more years to gather experience. I highly rate the lad.
September 8, 201510 yr Zouma to Fiorentina just made me laugh and shake my head. Waste of time even writing that.
December 6, 201510 yr Papers stating that Roman was horrified by our display against Bournemouth and Jose and his future are in serious doubt. Also that turkey is a destination for Diego Costa.
December 7, 201510 yr Sir Alex is urging Roman not to sack Jose! http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/sir-alex-ferguson-tells-roman-6968028
January 3, 201610 yr Guus Hiddink reportedly wants to shore up Chelsea's faltering defence by securing the signing of Nicholas N'Koulou from Marseille, according to The Telegraph. The 25-year-old is regarded as a quality defender, although his contract is up in the summer, meaning Chelsea could get a cut price deal. It is also alleged that N'Koulou has told figures at Marseille that he would like to join a new club, although they will negotiate hard to get the best fee possible.
January 3, 201610 yr Do you want him at Chelsea? (the new didier drogba) Vote yes/no at the blog! http://dailychelsea.sportsblog.com/posts/10068270/chelsea-ready-to-grab-breel-embolo-transfer-in-january.html
January 4, 201610 yr It's no surprise that NK would like to join a new club especially as he's gonna be outta contract ! If Marseille don't want him ....why should we ? LOL
January 4, 201610 yr Quite small for a centre back but he has good reports. Never seen much of him; anyone a fan?
January 4, 201610 yr IMO .....The board of directors at Chelsea should seriously re-consider the Club transfer policy ..........Having more than 30 class international highly rated players ( a mix of home grown youth players who have done excellent in our youth team and bringing in other similar young players from all four corners of the world) purely just to Loan out .....with no serious intention to give any of them a proper chance to play for us ( sitting on the bench or coming on the pitch in the 87th minute is a complete waste of that young talent)

Whilst I agree that a lot of the talent we already own has potential, a lot simply don't make the grade and we are just hoping to buy/sell for a profit.
January 8, 201610 yr I obviously understand that buying and selling is a "side business", but quite frankly IMO, the Chelsea board of directors have " concentrated too much on that side of business" and consequently during the pre-season took their eye off the ball regarding the main old fashioned business of actually freshening up the squad that will be wearing the blue shirt at Stamford bridge in the 1st team" !

We've actually over-taken both manchester as highest wage payers and made a loss of 23.1m.
January 9, 201610 yr Well according to the 2014/2015 financial statement they have a reason to have curbed on the massive spending. We've actually over-taken both manchester as highest wage payers and made a loss of 23.1m. I find that pretty worrying tbh. When you look at the wages United were reportedly offering players it's a major concern. City changed alot of thier earners onto heavy bonus incentive wages, which actually skews the figures a bit, but looks good on thier ffp. If we really have become a club that has to sell in order to buy, I can't see us competing at the top for the next few years until the stadium is finished. I guess we will find out our spending power over the next 2 windows.
