Rather we signed a 23 year old ricky carvalho- just what we need.

 

This thread use to be so exiciting filled with all exotic names, where are the next generation of superstars?

According to The Sun, Chelsea are targeting Oscar de Marcos as one player to add to the mix, with the Spaniard being a Ramires replacement, of sorts. De Marcos is a high-energy, versatile midfielder who can play all over the pitch, though he's typically deployed on the right be Athletic Club.

You don't know for sure we are. These are just rumours, and rumours from the sun nonetheless.

I think 4 players are going to leave this summer: Hazard, Costa, Matic and Oscar.

Hazard would be going to RM and we have been offered cash and one of Isco or James Rodriguez, Rodriguez would be great for us.

Costa looks like he's leaving, we were apparently close to signig Higuain in January but the deal fell through as the argentinian wanted assurances that he would be a starter, so sell Costa and get Higuain.

Matic out and Vidal in (or go for Verratti of PSG)

Oscar out and Isco in 

Also we know that we will be going for at least one defender.

 

Conte likes to play with 3 at the back, 2 wide wing backs who can go forward and have the pace to get back and defend, and a midfield of 3.

Is Pjanic do not have hes own thread ? Well tha is strange because Conte loves him , also Blanc loves him and Guardiola. But I think he respect Conte a lot. We are like talking with him according to English and Italian media. I don t know how much people watch seria A , but Roma  right now is Pjanic. If Roma had better fullbacks ( they are awful in those positions and to many oldtimers that team still is depend upon , like slow Keita , De Rossi is no nearly what hes bean , Totti is legend and all admire him , but come on man 40 years midfilder, Macion stiil best fullback hey have and he can run like 30 minutes). All this is to point out how hard is to be good in team who have a lot average players because u must play with sombody. I think  he and Radja but mosly Pjanic who had in like 20 app 11 goals and 10 assist( only 3 players have better stats then him ). Hes having  great season and  have expirience and a lot big games and hes only 25 , hes best is yet to come . He has fether touch , hes dead ball specialist maybe best curently in Europe ,   he creates 2,3 key pass per match, not even defensivly week and hes worker , always in top 3 in running and touches. One thing ha is weeknes is hes easy on yellow cards. I would love Radja and Pjanic to buy us duo because they work so well and give them players  of their quality they will give us  master central posession .I think for money Roma ask hes bargin 

Not exactly a rumour, but Benteke has expressed frustrations at not playing as often as he'd envisioned under Klopp. Considering our dearth of centre-forwards and how well Benteke is capable of playing, this situation might be worth keeping an eye on:

Would he be happy to play second fiddle to Costa though? Although having both starting up front would give us some serious power, what about Traore? I'd hate to see his promising development halt, and to be honest I'd be happy enough having him as our second choice striker next season.

I put him in my ideal 25 man squad for next season. I think he would be a really good option to have.

If we can get hummels that would be absolutely quality. I don't we will be able to buy any dortmund players though, maybe we would have a better chance at Gundogan as he is going into his final year of his contract.

Just read that then. Makes it slightly more feasible, although maybe dortmund would be prepared to let him and Gundogan see their contracts out, and leave for free, like they did with lewandowski.

It would be incredibly hard to get Hummels, he could probably go to anyone. I doubt he would join a team without Champions League football.

Laporte will go to City according to Marca. They'll pay the €50m fee to release him from Athletic.

Madrid have the buy back clause I read and are looking to bring him back then sell him for double the fee.

No, he is happy there and wants to stay but R Madrid have a €30m recall clause on his contract, and it is rumoured that they will make him go back to Madrid in the summer to sell him to a PL team (and Spanish newspaper suggest that Arsenal would be willing to pay good money for him).

Is he though ? if we was to give up a 20 goal a season striker, then you would want a striker who could do the same. Morata only has 10 goals this season, the season before he got 15. He hasn't even managed 10 league goals at the top level yet. If he can't score goals for the top teams in Spain and Italy then what chance does he have here ?

 

If Costa went, i would have more faith in Traore scoring goals consistently than i would with Morata. Morata's goal scoring record is similar to Torres when he was here.

I am not too impressed with Morata either. I think he is a fine player but there are better options, probably for less.  Higuain, Cavani, Dybala, Keep Costa, to name a few.  Morata is just younger and has the nebulous "potential."  Had a hell of a run against Bayern though in the CL.
