Our medical team is probably the best in the world IMO. Maybe biased, but we rarely have people injured unless it's unavoidable such as Hazards etc.

I agree regarding KdB but then it goes back to the fact that James was available and we made no effort to sign him, he is immensely talented. Bernardo Silva was another very good player who could have came in and made our right side stronger.

That may well be the case but he's still too raw IMO. He struggled for game time at Betis under Poyet so to expect him to put in big minutes for us this season I think is unlikely.

Is one way to determine a good healthy squad that can compete on all fronts usually to have 2 quality players for every position?  Does that not mean we need 6 quality CB's? and 2 that can play in the central role?  Luiz cannot play every game and I'm not confident anyone else can play the central role comfortably in our current squad.  

everyone is talking about defense but with Morata performance on the lower side , Hazard not fit and now Pedro , we sure are lacking the attack , we dont have a fiery striker , sorry for being critical ,Batshuayi is not the guy who will be that striker , we need some good attack , they should try for Sanchez , atleast throw a bid on table and see the outcome , he got less than 1 year so throw a bid of £50m on table and see the events than who knows we might get him

Been saying cancelo all summer. Would be a great signing. Apparently Valencia are open to selling him for €25m, no doubt we will pay premier league tax on top of that, but he would be a good addition. 

I read Cancelo is good going forward but can't defend for sh*t.

I agree you bring in VVD if available. No question. However, with a crowd at CB, why not transition Azpi to play more at wingback as a sub for Moses and/or Alonso? He was serviceable a few times last campaign in that role. 

Whatever is decided, we have to shore up the midfield. Kante and Cesc are clearly not working. How about a formation change? Adding a third midfielder seems like it may be the best way to get the most out of Cesc.

Top team in England and of course in the World have 8 or so midfirleders, we have totally 4 and now we are going to loan 1 of team ? They cut Conte options even more. And we don`t even have 1 DM in our squad, except Kante. Who will play, when he is tired and needed a rest? Even for a Cup games?
What if Conte decide to bring another system ? 4-3- 3 or 3-5-2 ? Who exactly will play in the midfielder? When someone is injured, who will play ? When someone form drops, what happen? When Conte need to give a guy rest or sub him in a 70 min, who will come in ?  Who will play in a lesser match, when after 3 days we have imporant match ?

Every top team should have 2 solid options for every position, and in some 3. Not 1 solid position and a youngster who can`t get 15 games in team like Betis and has zero experience and it`s 60kg .... Or a guy who relegated with Granada ....

Sorry but atleast in my eyes, we needed 2 midfielder atleast, 1 world class LB, 1 world class RB, third striker option, esp when sometimes we played 2 upfront and in the perfect world, we needed world class right midfielder for Pedro/Willy position. We could have easily get James for 2 years only for 10m.

2015 they fu****. Last year they failed bring Conte first choices, in my eyes they fu**** again. This year, they failed to get Lukaku, Sandro, Walker, Mendy, Danilo, Tolisio, for all of thoose, there was a interest confirmed. Renato Sanchez is yet to seen if he will come or not.

And we should f*** with Arsenal with offers for Sanchez, no matter if they let him or not. We should have messed with them. Send huge offers, make the player unsettled even more.

You will f*** their plan big, and they will put efforts in that direction. In that time you do your job in the window and constatnly put salt in the wound.

Other news is that our Marina has been away from her desk for the last few days on a negotiation trip...so maybe there'll be some good news shortly...

I have become so pessimistic towards the club and board I try to stay away but I am addicted to my club. The board is sucking the fun out of the season even before its even started

I think the comparison we should make is with the other big London clubs in terms of what they have won in the last decade or even a comparison in the last five.

We have smashed them all, Spurs, Arsenal and the rest thanks to the board, the managers and players they have invested in.

We need to have faith that they will deliver, I think we will get enough for another scorching season and Conte will work wonders with the tools he has.
