I would rather fabregas as a squad player than drinkwater, he brings much more to table. I don't think I'm unseating DD, he has had 1 outstanding season in an otherwise unspectacular career. I think he is overrated because of that season. It's not like we were fighting the big teams for his signature, and he can barely get a game in the worse England squad for decades. 

Fabregas can still offer a wealth of experience at the highest level, and as an impact sub, and occasional starter, he showed last season he can really useful, especially off we switch to a 3 man midfield. He's struggling in a midfield 2, playing week in week out, but that suprises no one. 

Maybe I would swap bakayoko for Barkley in my 6, as Barkley needs to prove his fitness, and bakayoko would add defensive cover.

I agree bakayoko is young enough to turn it around, but I didn't like what I saw in the few Monaco games I watched last season, and I am even less impressed watching him this season. 

Midfield is the biggest area of concern for me, there's only kante who I would definately keep.

Depends on the formation though. If we go 4-3-3, it would require 6 mids.

I wouldnt get rid of Bakayoko so quick, hes still young and does have potential.

I still think Martial is best used as a striker than on the wing. Bit of Anelka about him, a cool finisher infront of goal.

Gelson Martins, admittedly I've seen him play much, he looks very exciting on you tube. €60m buy out clause. 

Bloke is a faster Pedro. Has a bit of a loose touch on the dribble. Not sure he is what we need.

We MUST focus on our midfield.  I'm so tired of seeing Kante do the job of two people.  If we are sticking to formation we need another 2 competent midfielders to play/rotate.  Drinkwater can go, I'd let Fabregas' contract run out unless someone wants to come in and take him off our hands for a nice price (very doubtful).  Baka can go on loan with the promise of playing time for a lower side in a top league. I'd like to see RLC come back for competition and we purchase 2 other established midfielders.  Barkley I dunno.  He's got potential but I would probably be open to selling him.  

We are constantly outplayed in midfield...teams run right through our gut with only Kante there to stop 3 players.  It's getting incredibly frustrating watching Fabregas try and play in a two man midfield.  His physical limitations make him a late sub option now only.  Conte had it right last season bringing on Cesc only when down or starting facing a worse midfield than our own.  

Would go for Jorginho from Napoli but looks as though he's off to city.

Everyone good goes to City. We pick up the scraps that no-one else wants.

There will be great players available. Not every single good midfielder will go to City.

If Jorginho goes there, fine, we look at different options.

Abit like what we did with Kante after failing with Naingollan and look at how that turned out. Emerson instead of Sandro too and he’s beginning to look very good.

I’m 99% certain we will sign a high calibre midfielder to partner Kante, but it would be typical of us not to sign another one to replace Drinkwater or Baka.

People seem to be forgetting we dont have CL next season either, makes it even harder for us to sign good players.

Said this before but if Bats does end up joining Dortmund we should do everything we can to get Weigl in some sort of deal

Going after Koulibaly again for about 65m. Though this time i think it'll be much better seeing as we need to offload half of this pathetic defence that we have currently. Cahill and Luiz almost definitely need to go out and if we're going to stick with a back 3 then Azpi, Christensen, Koulibaly seems a great shout. With Rudiger rotating.

I read he has chillblains, I'm not too sure if that would stop him moving to England, I don't know a lot about the condition though.

It's not too important if you have taller defenders to attack and defend from set pieces. I would rather have technically proficient players who are shorter, than big, powerful players who aren't.

4 3 3 plus loftus-Cheek could be ideal :)
