The change of ownership and our inability to get involved in the transfer market earlier has been an issue.  But I think we are going to be okay.  Somne more defensive recruits and there is talk of a "wild card" incoming transfer.  A striker-winger perhaps?

We are doing the offering, Real are not doing anything.  They need a fast striker though.

Based on rumor, our transfer strategy this season is like throwing a big wide net and see which one stick. We are linked with all cb and all winger. Tuchel probably said I want 2 cb and one winger. We got sterling so we are done with winger. But cb wise, we are linked with 

de light, kounde, kalidou, fofana, cucurella, kimpembe. 

All of them have different profile. 

Do you want older or younger CB? Yes. 

Do you want short cb or tall cb? Yes. 

Do you want fast cb or slower is fine? Yes.

That is pandering to Barcelona. At least with FDJ we would be getting something out of the deal. This guy has already proven that he can't cut it in this league.

I think Depay would be a good signing. The context is perfect, he can play on the left, number 10, through the middle as a false 9 or an actual striker. Has great movement on and off the ball. 

The best part he would come free as he's in talks to terminate his contract with Barca. Even if he didn't work out we would then sell for profit like Sarr. Make no mistake though Depay has proven himself in 3 leagues the only one he struggled was the epl when he was 21.

How many top players have we seen struggle in this league at 21 then come back and be a world beater. I'm not saying he will come in and win the golden boot, but if TT likes him I'm all for it. Depay and Fekir were the best attackers in the French league alongside DiMaria, Mbappe and Neymar for a good couple of seasons.

I know some have mentioned his attitude, but I think from what I've seen he's a very mentally strong and would be another leader in attack alongside Sterling. Signing him would provide Kai with great competition for the number 9 spot and I believe he would form a powerful trident with Mount and Sterling. He's exactly the type of profile that we need in attack very technical, powerful, confident and has a point to prove.

‘Cos there is a player there, the manager isn’t just willing to develop the player. He is a work in progress and might not be where he needs to be till he is 24. 
I hope he gets his move, and I hope Pulisic & Havertz also do.

I think the manager is a tactical coach but not much on technique. It’s clear none of our players have improved their techniques. They still Cant shoot/cross or pass any better.

Am sure Barca have seen the Cucurella deal and fancy their chances of getting 150mill from us for those 3.

Let's say we sign Fofana, De Jong and a Striker.

How are we going to line up? It's a long season especially with the world cup break so I can understand having a big squad.

I personally would like to move away from 3 CBs but the signing of Cucurella makes me think other wise.
