I've always been, and remain a fan of Kevin de Bruyne. The guy is so so talented and in 2-3 years will be one of the worlds best (in my own humble opinion). Alas he'll never return to Chelsea though, not as long as Courtois is here. Can see him returning to the EPL though and causing us some problems.

Arsenal are closing in on signing Paulo Dybala (Picture: Getty)Arsenal are set to hold talks with Palermo’s president in London ahead of a deal to sign Argentine striker Paulo Dybala.

The Gunners are leading the race for Dybala, who is seen as the most sought after striker in European football, and Palermo are ready to sell.

Chelsea, Manchester United, Real Madrid and Barcelona are also in the race, but Arsenal are meeting Palermo’s president Maurizio Zamparini in London this week to thrash out a deal ahead of the competition.

Arsenal will meet in London the Palermo's president Zamparini for Dybala, according to tomorrow Corriere dello Sport — Tancredi Palmeri (@tancredipalmeri) February 16, 2015 Arsenal want to thrash out an agreement ahead of a summer deal, with Dybala rated at £29.5million.

If the Gunners can seal the transfer, it would be a notable coup.

How does Argentina come up with so many good strikers ( Aguero, Higuain, Tevez, Icardi, Dybala) and Brazil comes up with crap like Jo?

Almost forgot to mention the great Franco Di Santo

I feel the same, I think he'd be great in our no.10, creates a lot more than our AM's bar Hazard.

As for Dybala never heard of him but if he's the hottest striking prospect in Europe and is choosing arsenal over the other clubs, I'd have to question his mental toughness because it looks like he's choosing the team with the least competition.

Would you rather him be another knobhead who goes to R.Madrid to sit on the bench. I don't know why going to a smaller club while young then building yourself is so bad. If guys like Sinclair and Rodwell did that they would have turned out better in my opinion.

James Milner is apparently out of contract at the end of the season:

Would anyone be interested in us signing him? I have always rated him and is certainly better and more consistent than Ramires on current form. Plus he has the bonus of being English...

No brainier really, City would be stupid to let him go.

He's a top player and his versatility would fit in very well in our squad. Pay him what he wants I say.

He does seem promising, but he comes across as very one-footed, defensively lax and his decision-making is sometimes questionable.

If we should be looking at anyone based on tonight's game (just 45 minutes of football bear in mind) it is definitely Kondogbia.

He is a work horse, didn't he break the all time distance in the premier league for a game, or was it just for this season? Either way, Mourinho will have noticed that..

I do like Milner but would the club be interested considering he will be 30 next season, as a general rule we've been signing players younger than that.

Being a homegrown player however might sway them. I personally think he would be a great addition but seeing as he wouldn't necessarily be first choice at Chelsea I could see him moving somewhere like Liverpool (to be Gerrard's replacement) where he'll play a lot more and that's probably what he wants at this point in his career.

Decent engine but also has a decent touch. Remember us being in for him a few years ago when he was being spoken about as a successor to Lamps in some ways.

Would I take him? Over Ramires and Mikel yes, but at this stage in his career he'd probably want more security than the one-year contract we'd offer and a team like Newcastle or even West Ham would probably give him three-four years off the bat so it's pretty unlikely.

Chances are he stays at City.

I didn't realise he was nearly 30, then again that might not be a bad thing as he doesn't seem to have been affected by age at all, plus we have a particularly young front four. In addition to that it probably isn't the worst idea to add somebody to the squad who has experience of winning titles either.

I don't know that he'd be a replacement for Gerrard either, I'd argue that he's closer to Henderson's style of play. I heard (might have been a nothing rumour mind) that they were looking at Pjanic to replace Gerrard.

We have enough hard workers as it is. He wouldn't improve us or bring us anything we don't already have.

Milner is on the decline and would be a back up here, he wouldn't settle for that.

He'd be a improvement on Ramires and Mikel but like others have said his age is against him now.

He's a stick on for Liverpool.

I think he could be a very useful utility player for us but I doubt we could justify having him and Ramires in our squad at the same time.

Would love to see Milner here. He's a damn good player and is versatile can play many positions. We can partner him with Matic also if needed to be, he'll be better than Ramires for sure.
