So proud of them tonight. Bayern were the better team for much of the game. Especially the first 90. But we never gave in and just wore them down. Penalties are a cruel way to decide any game. Amazingly the shootout was almost a carbon copy of 2009 except with us winning. I would still love to see replays for the finals but I know that will never happen. Condolences to a fine Bayern team who were very gracious in defeat. Now its time to celebrate. Lets hear it for every single one of our players and of course our fantastic fans. Keep the Blue Flag Flying High! Enjoy a great night all of you!!

I've always believed Drogba to be a great player but not a Chelsea legend.....until now. He made up for the last final and then some. f**king Chelsea LEGEND.

I'm with Gem though, why the f**k wouldn't boswinga and kalou get the f**k out the way for terry and lamps to lift the trophy, as someone who has waited many years to see that happen, then to have those two insisting on standing right in f**king front of them. Bayern were more active but our strengths lie in great team defending and Big-Pete. Totally deserved the win. Penalties are coin flipping. Bayern is a great team and they are as good as us but when it goes to penalties it is just so much about luck.

Looking back at our road to this victory it looks like it was meant to be. We overcame so much controversy and everything went our way.

Moments like this make me proud to be a Chelsea fan!
