Inter Milan have stepped up their talks with Chelsea over taking £50m striker Fernando Torres on loan next season.

 

Chelsea have already decided to get rid of the former Liverpool forward, who has scored just 44 goals since his British record transfer from Anfield in 2011.

 

The 30-year-old still has over two years left on his £175,000-a-week contract, but as Standard Sport revealed earlier this week, Chelsea are willing to listen to offers over a permanent move or a loan deal.

 

Inter had already confirmed their interest in Torres and are now in negotiations over taking him on loan. However, they are not prepared to pay his salary in full and are hoping Chelsea will agree to pay some of his wages.

 

The west London club have agreed to such a deal before when players like Hernan Crespo and Juan Sebastian Veron had also struggled to make an impact at Stamford Bridge.

When he leaves the thread closes. They are one of the same thing, intertwined so one feeds off the other. 

Although if hes loaned out, he'll still be a Chelsea player so we'd have to keep it open!

Torres is finished at Chelsea now. When your manager comes out twice in a row and refuses to discuss your performance - you know its over.

Lets just say i'll be the one taking him to the airport when the season ends but for now he's still a Chelsea player so he still has my support.

Once again Torres shows he is completely and utterly past it. Should of bought Ba on instead tonight.

Torres is sh*t, hampered by being rushed back from injury all the time at Liverpool (his speed was shot when we signed him), not having a clue how to play up top on his own and being as lethargic as I am on Sunday afternoons. It also doesn't help in some parts that he isn't Drogba.

If we hadn't paid £50m for him I do doubt this thread would be half as long though.

We've actually done pretty well this season considering we've started half our games with ten men on the pitch.

 

The other half of our games we've played Samuel Eto'o.

For some reason i like Torres..BUT....It is time to part company for his and our sakes....I have a great idea...LIVERPOOL...WE LL DO A SWAP......TORRES FOR SUAREZ.......YES?

Apparently in his last 3 games, Torres has not had 1 shot on target.

Update: Torres now has a whopping 9 goals in all competition this season. That is just outside the top 150 performers in Europe this season !!

 

Even Gerrard has twice as many (18). 

So much for the £50m price tag..

Indeed I am Uno! Never happy, I think I have completely fallen out of love with the actual game and am more concerned with off the pitch stuff & the form of other teams... I just no longer enjoy watching football.

The end is nigh, no way is he in our squad for next season after the comments Jose have made the last 2 games.
