Costa, Lukkaku and Torres would be enough next season although I would prefer Cavani instead of Costa but I think Cavani might be too expensive.

Jose only plays one up most times and if you look at his record over the years his strikers are never prolfic and it makes sense to try and share the goals around. Next season if Hazard is here I expect 20 from him and more goals from Oscar, Willian and Schurlle.

If people only want to pay 60k of Torres wages then why pay 120k to someonelse for him to play.

Personally wouldn't mind if he was here as third choice striker next season but that's probably because I don't pay his wages.

I've always said I'll be happy with a strikeforce of costa or cavani, lukaku and torres/ba/eto. Interesting summer ahead

Looked like he didn't give a sh*t after he scored, was a bit strange.

If he is to be sold it looks like he won't be missing us as much as his bin dipping pals up north.

Can't see him leaving to be honest . Where would he go and who would pay his wages ? Would the club be prepared to take a financial hit ?

It would be more useful just having him here as a number 2 or 3 striker . He's still effective at times (at times beings the key word)  .

Has to leave for the club to finally move on and to strengthen our limited goal scoring options. If we start next season with Torres as one of our two first choice centre-forwards we are doomed to fail again.

Roman will have to accept he made a disastrous call in buying him and take the financial hit. It should have happened last summer really.

PS: I can only assume the 13 votes for him to stay is a reflection of the number of opposition fans we have had on here lately!

I doubt anyone will want to buy him, so hopefully we'll do what we did with Sheva, Crespo and Veron and just loan them out, still paying a large portion of their wages. It would be money better spent if we paid £100k a week to not have him here, than if we paid £175k a week to have him here.

If he goes its gonna be a loan deal somewhere, for him I'd like to see him go back to Atletico.

I will always appreciate his goal against Barca, his performance in the Europa League including the final and that winner against Man City.

I wouldn't mind him as a 3rd choice, the only problem is his wages will be a big expense to the club.

I wouldn't even want him leading the line for the U21s. He's sh*t. Time to get rid finally and let us all move on with our lives.

Commendable how some still seem to hold emotions amounting to less than resentment towards Torres.

Chelsea fans must have set some sort of record for forbearance shown to any player in the history of football.

Don't really see how you can hate him, he's done nothing wrong, I feel sorry for him more than anything, he can't help being sh*t. He wasn't gonna turn down a move to a club with more prospects for better money in a better city. He's not gonna force his way out of a club he's playing regular(ish) football for without any cause. He can't help it no one wants to buy him. Blame the club for not getting rid, paying him too much. Torres doesn't put himself in the team, blame Jose for that, he wants to play of course, he'd be a dick if he didn't. He often does put in some effort, if he can't do it he can't do it. Resentment, not at all.

I'm not just going to hate a person just because he isn't very good anymore.

I personally don't think he will leave. Like someone said, we can't get rid of Ba; Eto'o and Torres in one window - particularly when Jose has doubts about Lukaku.

Even IF he did stay Costa, Lukaku and Torres is an improvement.

If he does go we will need to bring in another striker maybe even 2 if Lukaku wants first team football every week.

I really would like our 3 to be Costa, Lukaku and Bamford but I can't see that happening

100% won't happen.

Bamfords too inexpierenced at this level for a start, get him a loan to the championship or lower EPL side and get him progressing further rather than sitting on the bench.

I don't see Lukaku staying if it's Costa and Torres so maybe he could be used as bait for Barkley IF he doesnt want to fight for his place?

Not sure who else we could bring in thougj up top...maybe Remy for the 2nd/3rd role?

I'd just like to see one of these young lads get a chance you just never know, bad example I know but remember when Macheda came in at Man U and won them a couple of games? Those were very important results that helped United win the league title. But I agree Bamford will go out on loan.

I wouldn't want Lukaku to go to another EPL club, I think he'd definitely come back to haunt us and I really think it would be another stupid decision to sell much like the Sturridge one.

Remy would be great but I'm 99% convinced he's off to Arsenal and I also don't think he'd come to be back up.

Yeah it's a nice thought but since we are chasing the big trophies the chances a young guy from the youth set up would come in to play a significant part is the stuff of dreams sadly.

I'd not sell Lukaku or loan him in England again and I doubt he'd accept another loan either. We need to give him a go or bite the bullet and sell him abroad. I think it really comes down to Lukaku though, he and we know he wont be no 1 from the off so does he knuckle down and force his way in or say "f**k this" and move?

Yeah Remy looks Arsenal bound, really not many options in that area available.
