Hard to say for sure but looks like the fan was asking "where was the fight" and Dave appeared to basically offer come here and I will show you fight, and the fan backed off.

    I believe he will have his extention canceled by the new owners and be joining Xavi at Barca. They are said to be good friends and Dave's family are also said to like the idea of returning to Spain.

    I hope so, he’s been a very good player for us over the years but I feel right now he is in real danger of walking to an ‘Ivanovic’ situation.

    I think it would be a really bad move. We play a back 3 and we’d be losing 3 of the CB options, not to mention we’re already losing a big character like Rudiger and it looks increasingly likely that Jorginho, our vice captain, is off so losing 3 big characters wouldn’t be good. I don’t think Dave has got to the stage Ivanovic did yet, he’s still a good back up to have around, I wouldn’t have him a starter but he’s definitely still solid enough and not to mention very versatile

    Question is would he be happy staying around as a back up? Giroud left cause he wanted to play. Maybe Dave will too.

    In all honesty whatever he wants, he has earned that right.

    I do feel we are at the right time for a squad evolution and Rudiger, AC, Jorgi and possibly Kante going gives us that chance to freshen kt up.

    James, Mount and Silva are our leaders to help Gallagher, Broja, Colwill and new signings settle in.

    This man is done, absolutely finished. Hate it when club legends tarnish their legacy like this when we keep them around too long, same happened with Ivanovic.

    Love Dave but he needs to starting showing more bollocks as the captain towards his team mates. Would the likes of JT/Cahill/Wise let the team carry on in this fashion? That grit, determination and leadership we used to have throughout the squad is unfortunately missing nowadays.

    I'm not being harsh, that's what it seriously looks like. This season overall he has been pretty average, makes mistakes and he's not going to get any better. He had peaked. It's only going to go down from here.

    Chelsea is turning to a sinking ship, and he as CAPTAIN should be blamed for the ship sinking. If he really cares about the club he would have given each and every player that played the last few games a huge bollocking. But at the same time, how can he when he's not setting a good example?
