November 1, 201411 yr they're 'overpaid' because there are hundreds of millions of people around the world willing to fork out their money to watch them ply their trade if there was no demand for it(football in general) and they were still getting paid what they are then that reasoning could fly always irks me sometimes when some people might say oh they get paid millions for kicking a ball! It's like the years of training and applied knowledge that went into their game from since they were children somehow doesn't mean anything. Hazard became a paid pro at 16 and spent 13 years of his life training himself to get to that point. supply and demand Yeah I dont have a problem with the top players being massively well paid, same as I have no problem with the best actors being massively well paid for movies.
November 1, 201411 yr I sometimes complain about him being able to get more goals but then when you watch the matches it becomes obvious. He probably could shoot more, but in most of the matches he plays any time he gets the ball on the left there are three men immediately on him, probably why he comes inside so much. Despite this, he is still a gem.
November 1, 201411 yr Hazard on QPR: "It was the same against Strawberry" (ChelseaTV) #CFC LOL! Ha, did he really say that ? i would love to get a clip of it to see it
November 1, 201411 yr ↑ That is quite scary. Gianfranco looks like an Italian mobster that's just left a horses head on someone's pillow.
November 1, 201411 yr On a side note; how consistently good is eden at penalties? Jeez! He just doesn't miss.
November 1, 201411 yr The boy is a joy to watch. He seems to be improving well and he has been so more effective since Cesc and Diego came to the club. For his (and our) benefit I really hope Thorgan makes it with us too. Having watched him recently he seems like he could be a great squad player for us. Edited November 1, 201411 yr by AndyBlue82

November 1, 201411 yr "Strawberry" clip https://vine.co/v/OOehwb73EjQ Looool you guys heard it here first it's strawberry not Shrewsbury from now on
November 1, 201411 yr On a side note; how consistently good is eden at penalties? Jeez! He just doesn't miss. Was just gonna say this. Unbelievable technique. Great clip of him taking the one against arsenal
November 1, 201411 yr Hazard is a fantastic player as was Zola. One is a legend and one will be.How lucky are we.
November 1, 201411 yr Hazard is a fantastic player as was Zola. One is a legend and one will be.How lucky are we. Ive always felt Hazard will end up at Real Madrid hope I'm wrong of course.
November 1, 201411 yr Ive always felt Hazard will end up at Real Madrid hope I'm wrong of course.I hope that day never comes but it will happen :(Not just Madrid, everyone would want a piece of Hazard in 2-3 years time but I hope that time comes he won everything at chelsea. To be honest I don't want him to leave I want him to grow to be a chelsea legend Edited November 1, 201411 yr by Chelsea forever1
November 1, 201411 yr I think hazard has the potential to be better than Zola, but at the moment he's nowhere near as consistently brilliant as him.

Hazard became a paid pro at 16 and spent 13 years of his life training himself to get to that point. supply and demand Don't get me started about people saying "soldiers should be paid footballers wages and vice versa". It's not hard to understand the difference between the private and public sector. If they wanted that then either they would be paying a sh*t-load more tax, or our army would consist of around 6 soldiers sharing 3 guns, and a tank. Exactly, it's supply and demand. Back to Hazard, love that quote about Shrewsbury. That will piss off QPR fans. Edited November 1, 201411 yr by RichardCFC
November 2, 201411 yr I hope that day never comes but it will happen :( Not just Madrid, everyone would want a piece of Hazard in 2-3 years time but I hope that time comes he won everything at chelsea. To be honest I don't want him to leave I want him to grow to be a chelsea legend It seems inevitable really but the great thing about a potential, future Madrid deal is that one of Bale, James, Isco will be available - and at their peak. Any one of those plus a boat load of cash would make things a little easier.
November 2, 201411 yr If we really want him to stay I really doubt Hazard will ever leave us. P.S one more thing... I really think he'll score way more if he'll play more centrally or behind the striker. Edited November 2, 201411 yr by CFCBlue12
November 2, 201411 yr If we lost him I don't know who we could replace him with tbh. He is as influential for us as ronaldo is for real, minus the goals.
November 2, 201411 yr If he signs a new deal, how much do you guys reckon his buyout clause will be? Gotta be at least 70+ million.
