Thank God he didnt get it cut.

Looks like the break did him some good. Played two good passes, one of which should have been a goal if Oscar was in better form. Still needlessly gave the ball away though.

Not sure when... didn't seme him give the ball away at all. He lost it once by being tackled, then won it back but, you know, even Messi loses the ball

Not sure the exact minute but it was before that happened.

I think you are holding him to a different bar to the rest, he is one of the safest people on the ball we have, under pressure and in terms of picking a pass. As I have said before my only thing about him is that he really needs to be weighing in with about 10 goals a season

Not really as I agree that's the case 7 times out of 10. He does, however, have a tendency to mess up simple 5 yard passes. Especially in the form he's been in the past three or so games.

He played well today so it's not a big deal. I would gladly accept misplaced passes if we got more performances like that from him.

I like his style of play - real hard worker. Unfortunately his nowhere near as productive in the final third. His end product is terrible. Lets hope he can develop this part of his game.

But at the age of 25, you would seriously hope he would have end product for the price we paid.

Good point..let's hope he can do a Malouda and contrbute more goals from the 2nd season onwards...

Agreed, he was one of our better players. People moan about Willian having no end product, but he's offering more than Oscar in the final third atm, as well as more energy generally.

Is he ? at least Oscar gets the odd goal and maybe an assist here and there. Willian creates nothing and very rarely scores a goal. All 3 of the Brazilian midfielders aren't doing enough in my opinion but Oscar is the only one i expect to become a better player in the future.

I thought Wilian was one of the better players tonight, he kept possession well, got back and defended well and put a couple of balls into the box that a striker if we had one would be looking to get on to, the one where Torres gave him a stare after he done very well to beat his man and get the ball across being one of them.

He was almost the least of our problems tonight and I'd give him the extra praise that I've never watched him and doubted he was giving it his best effort.

we seem lack fluidity with all 3 midfielders. Last season there was complaints about whether mazacar was too similar, but they did produce attractive football, and linked up well.

Im not sure if its the extra defensive duties mourinho placeson the attackers, but the link up play between them has been none existant.

The amount 4v3/3v2 situations we squander without so much as an effort on goal is ridiculous.

Hopefully with a few summer editions willian, oscar, and hazard, will start producing the type of football that vast investment should warrant.

But that isn't creating anything really. Oscar would have had to do something himself to create a goalscoring opportunity.

If I remember correctly he dispossessed Ibra before going on a run and setting up Oscar? Granted it wasn't a goalscoring opportunity but still a key contribution! Just a small detail at the end of the day though, the whole of our attacking unit needs to take some of the burden away from Hazard

Completed the most passes in the final 3rd than any other Chelsea player tonight.

First season, in and out of the team.  THink he's got the making of a good player, but like all our AM's would love to see him shoot a bit more.

Funny how we thought Sturridge was too greedy, and now we are screaming for people to take a f**king chance!
